"It's for our own safety. As far as humans have come, they still fight anything that's different. You may not be that bad, but as a whole, you guys can't even handle different coloured people, how do you expect to be all friendly with people who have horns and wings and powers?"

Grace sighed and shook her head. "Humans are a lot more tolerant and accepting now. Many people claim to be discriminated against all the time, but it's very rare that one of their claims is actually true. Maybe not all humans would be friendly at first, but I know some would. I mean, look at me. I love you guys! I think that you're awesome! I would love to be friends with you, if you would let me."

"You are very naive, aren't you sweetheart?" He squints at her. "As I said, you've come a long way but people don't cause a fuss like they do if they're just making it up." He rolls his eyes, looking at his friend. "I personally, already have a pet so I don't need to clean up after another one."

Grace gasped and crossed her arms. "I'm not naive. I just know that humans are a lot more accepting now. I mean, if you had to use a locator spell to find humans, we're obviously blending in pretty well and not hurting anyone. Are you calling me a pet? Hey! I am just like you, but without powers! We're both people. You can't talk about humans not accepting you, when you can't accept humans! I think the problem here is that none of you can accept the fact that humans have changed and are much more capable of accepting things now."

Nyms flailed her tail as she started to walk down the sidewalk. Nyms sniffed the air, fear struck her
eyes "Who is that?" Her voice was shaky as she spotted Jerome. Her ears went down and now she did
look at Grace like she was her worst fear "is that.. Is that a human?"

Grace sighed and facepalmed as yet another nonhuman found out about her. She knew that Jerome would probably tell the girl, so she decided to try to calm her down. "It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Grace. What's yours? You're a daughter of the werewolf, right? Your tail is kind of a dead give away."

"The without powers thing is exactly what I mean. My brother's like that already. It's hard enough dealing with one pet, I couldn't possibly take on another. How many times must I say, i realize humans have changed, they just haven't changed enough for us to be comfortable living in their world." He says, rubbing his temples. He was so irritated that she just didn't comprehend what he was saying. He lifted his head and smirked when she tried explaining who she was to Nyms. "Did you ever go help that english teacher with the rabid dog?" He says, checking his watch. "Oh sh*t, Caspar, we need to go Madmoiselle Faes class is starting in like five minutes." He says, grabbing his bag.

"That was more trouble than it was worth." Nyms mumbled to Jerome, her head going down. As the
girl spoke, she looked over at Grace, and she shook her head. She only would speak to Jerome. Nyms
looked at Jerome again, "Don't cause to much trouble..." Her tail swayed and her ears pricked up
towards Jerome.

Grace frowned and shook her head. "Your brother is not some lower life form because he doesn't have powers, and neither did I. I disagree with you. I think that most humans have changed enough to accept you. It's just that some of us are stupid. You're really not going to talk to me? Look, I don't want to hurt you. I want to be friends with you! Do I look like I could hurt anyone? I'm not exactly the picture of strength here."
