He woke up as the sun peeked through the window, He saw Carter still asleep. He gently shook her. "Good morning sleepy head. It's a new day." He said quietly so she wouldn't wake up with a start. He fixed his hair and sat up

A ray of sun trickling through the crack in the ceiling and landed on Vapor's face. With a sudden jolt he woke up, his eyes wide with fear and uncertainty. With one glance around he calmed down and rubbed his eyes.

Aaron, who was very much a morning person, was already sitting in the corner, dressed and hair tousled as though he had been out for an early-mourning flight. He heard Vapor stirring and glanced up. "Hey."

Carter
Carter yawned and stretched, her wings becoming their full wingspan. She relaxed and slowly sat up. Her fringe covered her eyes, typical bed head. Carter was too tired to fix it. "Morning," she mumbled in her deep morning voice.

[birdiesong]

"Hey." Vapor replied back in a groggy voice. He stood up and made sure the file was still where he had put it last night, luckily it was. He peered at Aaron, "Sorry 'bout yesterday." He then looked over to Sadie and then the room where Carter and Jackson were.

Sadie groaned and opened her eyes. "I wish I could just sleep forever," she grumbled, laying on the couch, not in any mood to move. She stared up at the ceiling listening to the others waking up. She stayed there before sitting up and swinging her legs so that she was actually sitting on the couch. "Mornings are the worst things to have ever been invented."

He smiled at her. "Come on. I'll make you something for breakfast." He offered. He draped his jacket over her as he stood up. He was happy she hadn't noticed that he called her baby, since he was pretty embarrassed about it

Carter
Carter sighed and played with the sleeves of the jacket. She felt oddly refreshed and too happy. "That sounds awesome," she grinned, standing up and taking Jackson's hand. She surprised herself, but she didn't withdraw her action just yet.

Aaron laughed. "Nah, they're the best." In truth, Aaron just didn't sleep. He loved to be up late, and he almost always woke up early. Even he knew it was bizarre. "You all sleep good?" He glanced over to where Addie was still sleeping. "Everyone okay?"

"No, mornings are evil," Sadie replied. "There is nothing good about waking up. Sleep is where the real fun is." She yawned and stretched her arms up into the air.
