I watch quietly as Sam pets Alex, and Alex as she circles him in a protective way. And now that I think about it, I'm not totally sure why I wasn't afraid of Alex when I first met her as the creature before me. Maybe it's because I'm used to different, and scary. I wonder. Standing around awkwardly, I shift my hands over to my pocket and try to look cool for Alex.

I watch Thor as he looks over at Elise and caws out his approval of her. I laugh quietly and stroke his feather's lightly. I look over at Elise and tell her, "congratulations, Thor likes you." Normally he tends to be a bit of an anti-social bird, and I think that's because of me. But he really does seem to like Elise.

Violet
"Bye!" I call to him as he walks away. Once he is gone I realize the reason why I've been slightly nervous and worried about him this whole time. He said that he knows my brother's and parent's and all of our powers but...how did he knew who I am? I never told him my name. I never said anything about my family. I wonder, just how much does this company of his know?

Willow
"We follow," I say quietly, even though I know we really shouldn't continue. I head into the forest and stick the path for a few minutes. Then, I pause and listen closely to our surroundings. I turn suddenly to the left and walk off into the underbrush.

"You don't know who you can trust these days," I tell him, agreeing with Ash. "I'm Jason by the way," I add, deciding I should probably mention my actually name too. If Ash trusts him then that's enough for me.

I give a nod, continuing to follow. I almost ran into her as she made a sudden sharp turn to the left. What was that for? I wonder as I follow.

I could feel my insides boiling. So they didn't trust me, did they? I show them I have powers, just like Ash, and they don't trust me. "You guys didn't trust me, even when I showed I was like you?" I said calmly, holding back the urge to snap.

Ash shifts back, she could see the rage in his eyes"think about it from our point of view, a random guy shows up and tries scaring us, he has powers like us, we do not know him....I have met many bad people with powers that have tried stealing mine...."
