Peter raised his brows slightly in surprise, but soon just leaned forward and touched her fist softly, pulling it into his hand and gently rubbing it undone. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize until now. That was insensitive." He raised his eyes back up to her. "...I realize we are at equal age about, but... If you'd like, maybe I could help you a little?"

She grinned softly at Peter, looking up at him, gratefully. Honestly, she hasn't seen anyone so nice, so loyal, so.. So caring like him in years.
