She smiled gingerly, shrugging as she ducked down the old cobblestone path and slowly made their way down the street. A little brick building was sectioned off to the left, a giant 'art' painted abstractly on its walls. For a moment Shale paused, sucking in a sharp breath as she turned to Victor. "...Ok, this place is ran by a vampire- as is just about everything in this city, so I'm gonna need you to stick close to me, oh, and never, ever open your mouth. I can cover up your scent pretty easy, but if things do get out of hand before we reach the basement- I really don't want you throwing out threats and daggers. The lady's pretty nice, anyway," she nodded, the little bell dinging above them as she pulled open the heavy glass doors.

He frowned, shaking his head numbly. "-Alex, don't you ever talk like that."

"True? Who have you been talking to lately, Alex? This world belongs to us, this city, ours...and jeeesh, trust me when I say those fangs really do make your eyes light up," he cracked a smile, gently twirling her hair in his fingers before he tucked it gingerly behind her ear, out of her face.

Alex new he was right and she had a small smile creep across her face "when I'm around you I feel...alive" she said with a smile on her face as she embraced him with a big huge

He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her as he gently kissed her forehead, drawing away ever so slightly. "...Hmm, you are alive. No, you don't breath or have a heart, but your certaintly more than that chair over there. You hungry? For some reason I feel like real...good...hunt."

Alex smiled as he said those things to her. "Maybe in day we could leave this place and explore" she said looking at him

He shook his head softly, his darkened eyes vibrant beneath the dim light. "...Nah, this is my city, Alex. Axle's left now, which means im fully in charge."

Alex nodded. She then walked back a little. She saw the rain had stopped and the clods continued to role in she kissed him goodbye and walked away.

He cocked an eyebrow as she simply turned away, walking off. "...Huh, did I say something wrong?" He shrugged lightly to himself, nodding as he headed back down torwards his little building over the alleyway.
