She stiffened, her eyes flickering with uncertainty. "Yeah, considering the circumstances... Don't get any ideas. Just saying, I don't need fangs to kill somebody," she smirked, her hand sliding into her back pocket as she flipped open a little switchblade, it's handle decorated with striking leather. "...What else do you do for fun?"

His grin grew wide, his eyes glittering with amusement. "...Nothing, you're just beautiful in the rain."

Angel sidestepped Ares's dog and walked into his house looking for a chair. Her wet convers were making an amusing sound on his floor. She didn't care much for dogs, she was a cat person, well not a person, I guess you could say cat-vampire? She sighed and thought of something to say,"So Ares, it's my birthday in like, two weeks. What are you gonna get me?"
