She rose to the surface, gasping as she sputtered out the water. After a moment she frowned, keeping herself afloat as she stared at the lake, empty other than a few frolicking minnows. Whered he go?

He grabbed her from behind. "Rawr!" He laughed

Kate-

She yelped as she was suddenly grabbed from behind, showers of water dancing around them as she spun around, laughing. "Ah!" She giggled, kicking out and splashing him, her clothes slick up against her sides, soaking wet. The water churned beneath them, minnows dancing on its edges, glimmering rainbows thick with the lake's murky dephs. The rushing waterfall roared in her ears, her eyes alight with exitement as she dove below the surface.

He laughed climbing up the waterfall once more. He sat at the top.

Alex was woundering something and asked "why are you treating me so nicely? Even though I was rude to you when we first meet and come to think of it why did you save me" she was still holding his hand and bitting her lower lip from the kiss

She swam, peeling her eyes open into the green dephs of the lake, fish scales glinting faintly in the darkness. After a moment she rose back to the surface, sputtering out the water and smiling up at Chris, pulling her matted hair back as it fell over her face, wrapping itself around her neck, dripping wet. Shaking her head roughly, Kate waded over to the lake's bank, climbing up the rocky walls of the waterfall and plopping herself down beside him. Her teeth chattered from the cold, her eyes alight with exitement, fun. "...Whew."

Ares~

He cocked an eyebrow, shrugging. "Girl, I'm practically head of this city besides Axle. I run this place. Which means, I keep everyone in line, whether they're nice or not... Anyway, you always save the beautiful lady," he smiled crookedly as he dipped his head in a sarcastic bow.

He chuckled. "We can head back if you are cold. I need to look for a house anyway. Assuming you want to stay in this town that is."

Alex smiled at him and gently kissed his cheek. "You called me beautiful" she was shocked she never really looked at herself. "Well since I'm the beautiful lady I guess that makes you my night in shinning armor" she had always dreamed of one.

"I've lived here my entire life, Chris. I love it here."

He smiled crookedly, wrapping his arms around her and moving his face until it was only inches away from hers. "Ah, and shall the dear princess head back to this knight's castle? Stay there for a while, perhaps?" He whispered lowly, kissing her forehead lightly before drawing away, looking directly into her eyes.

"We will stay as long as we can. We cant have humans become suspicious when we don't age." He said softly.
