She wasn't even thinking straight as she suddenly reached over and hugged him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, squeezing a little. Her eyes closed softly as she pushed her face into his shirt, her nose quivering as it took in his husky scent, crisp, soothing. After a moment she let go, her eyes only inches away from his as she locked onto his darkened gaze. "...Thank you, Chris. Thank you for everything."

He was surprised but hugged her back gently. "Always kate... always..", he said softly his blue eyes meeting hers.

Kate~

She mustered up a smile, the hairs on the back of her neck standing up as he hugged her back, prickling with that sense of relief, surety. "Always? Throughout eternity? Because thats what I got," she cracked a sweet grin, her fangs piercing her bottom lip painfully as she stared straight into his eyes. How old are you? Thousands, thousands of years..., she thought dimly, smiling at the futuristic idea.

"Always pr until you tell me to leave... I promise kate. We can travel the world go anywhere." He said. Brushing her bangs out of her eyes.

She blinked as he brushed her bangs back and out of her eyes, blushing slightly. "...I doubt I'd ever tell you to leave, Chris."

Her chest lurched, her heart thrumming softly in her chest, her eyes fluttering for a deadening moment. Her breaths were low and raspy, almost choking as she suddenly gripped his shirt, clinging for any thing as an unbelievable pain seared her sides. A reddened haze clouded her mind, swallowing hard as her back went limp, falling out from beneath her. She closed her eyes in a sense of agony, clenching her jaw. A soft wisp of air seethed through her lips, her body relaxing after a moment, finally giving in as the venom drove through her. It was as though her entire life had been on a clicker, as though the light switch had just been turned off, the thin line cut. Feels weird, doesn't it?, something echoed at the back of her head as she roused stiffly. Her hands were sweaty as she slowly placed them up against the side of her neck, but there was no pulse, no beat, no need for air...or...or...
"...No, no, no, no!!" She screamed suddenly, her eyes blackened, wide with unbelievable fear, terror.

Ares-

"It's normal, no body will care. You're perrectly safe," he whispered lowly.

She looked at him and whispered "I hope".

He cocked an eyebrow, rolling a soft tsk, tsk off of his tongue as he watched her. "Hope? No, you know. Trust me, Alex," he mused gently, rubbing her shoulders tenderly as they walked down the street.

He smiled at her. "Do you want to go for a walk?" He asked

She cocked an eyebrow, gritting her teeth out of habit and wincing as she felt her fangs bite onto her bottom lip. She nodded numbly, her back achingly stiff as she got up. "...Yeah, sure, I guess."
