She giggled, skipping back to her house as she held on to her Mommy's hand tightly, her wide, blue eyes alight with laughter.

Alex layed all the brakeing things on the island in the kitchen. She pulled a chair up and allowed Dallas to get up on their. "What kind should we make..sugar cookies, chocolate chip" she asked her daughter she was alittle sad that ares wasn't hear to share the moment with them

She giggled with exitement, waving her hands as she hopped onto the chair, scooting up to the table eagerly. "-Chocalate chip! Mmmmm!"

Alex smiled and nodded. "My favorite" she gave a warm smile and grabbed the mixer. "Do you want to stur it" she asked with a smile handing the bowl and spoon over to her.

She nodded eagerly, sitting up as she reached over the table, grabbing the big spoon in her little hands and clinging to the bowl, heavy in her arms. She let out a wistful breath, a loose strand of hair falling into her face as she tried to stir up the mix, the bits of batter clumped up and sticky. "-Ugh."

Alex chuckled and grabbed a bag of chocolate chips out of the cabinet. She brought it over and tore it open. She poured it in as Dallas mixed it together. She saved a handful of chocolate chips for later. Grabbing a tray she layed it on the table and grabbed her phone. It was already 6:30 and she hadn't seen ares in a while. She was thinking of leaving to search for him but wanted to finish the cookies with Dallas

Her eyes seemed to light up, her nose quivering at the heavy, milky scent of dark chocolate. "Mmmmmm," she giggled, laughing as she gleamed up at her mom. Suddenly she frowned, the rim about her pupil shimmering with rings of gold as she sat back. "...Mommy, what are those?" She asked quietly, raising a little finger to her mouth. There were two sharp things there, the little girl shaking her head. "Nah huh."
