Raven woke much earlier than she would have liked to the next morning. There was hardly any light outside, and the cave was still dark. She heaved a sigh and gave her best go at attempting to sleep again, but she gave up after awhile. She felt very burdened by yesterday's events and she was still chilled over the news of Ruty's family's death. She could hardly be disgusted or angry, though, because she knew he was sorry and regretted it more than anything. Eventually, she carefully slid away from Ruty so she wouldn't wake him up and stood up from the cave floor. She had an idea that was much easier than yesterday's for finding food, but, as usual, there was a flaw. Transfiguration - she could transfigure something into food but she had to be very careful about it. She couldn't change something too large or she'd never be able to change anything else. So, she spent the first hour or so of her time after she woke up turning tiny rocks into pieces of bacon that were only as big as the rocks had been. She truly hated magic - or, at least the kind she was able to use. By the time she had collected all of the small pieces of bacon, her back was hurting and she felt more exhausted than ever. She began to walk lazily back into the cave.
