Ruty looked up at her and nodded, "I agree, our grandparents are great people. They helped me, even your grandma. They helped something that most people would be to scared of to even look at..." He said quietly. "A-are you done school?" He asked her quietly.

Raven nodded. "I just finished a couple months ago. I got finished a bit early because I got to set my own pace, since I was being homeschooled. Not that early though. As for my grandmother, I thought she would be less up front. Maybe she's lost that part of herself, or maybe it was a bad day, or maybe she was scared. I've never actually seen her around a demon. I was just assuming that she would be nice about it. I'm not sure why they didn't freak out instantly like most people would. Either there's something I don't know, or they're just not as judgmental. Maybe that's why I never judged you. I was raised by people who taught me against it." She shrugged. "Either way, I never have judged you and I never will."

Ruty smiled lightly, "they are good people Raven. After that incident with your grandmother, it took me awhile to realize it, but she was most likely worried for you." He said, looking over at her. "She probably was worried that you made a mistake and was scared..."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Raven said quietly. "I just wish she wouldn't have said that. I think she should trust my judgment. I'm not really careless." She shrugged and looked at the ground. "But whatever. I don't think you gave off a homicidal terror vibe, so we should both be off the hook."

The centaur walked through the forest, occasionally brushing lower tree branches or brush in general away from his chest or face. He wore a simple vest-like shirt, preferring the freedom no sleeves offered his movements. He continued down the path he made for himself, wondering if anyone was nearby.

Jake wandered carelessly through the woods, mostly given up on trying to find his cousin. He sighed loudly and squinted at his surroundings before he heard movement in the nearby brush. "Anybody over there?" he called out nervously.
