Jay turned to face the girl, " Wha? No. She's my girlfriend... She doesn't want to be a vampire... " He picked up the stone and skimmed through his notes, " Why didn't this work... The stone full of great magic should have healed her... " He tapped his lips.

"Maybe cause im not a vampire jay!" she kissed his cheek "He just drained blood not infected me, biting my shoulder woulda done so" she said "Or draining all my blood"

Meg turned around. "Well usually a single bite to the neck works... But draining all of your blood does too. Where did he bite you?" She looked at her.

She showed her "Well i dont feel like a vampire... I cna just ask Jackson.." she murrmerd

"Well, I don't think she's a vampire." She narrowed her eyes. "Why do you think she is? Aren't you supposed to be a vampire expert or something?" She glanced at the girl another time. "I'm pretty sure she's not.."

Jay growled softly, " No one is talking to him ever again... I'm done. " He looked back at Meg, " Im not only an expert on Vampires... I study all creatures in this area. I'm currently on a mission to find hybrids... Hybrids I don't have yet. " He crossed his arms, " Know any? Id love to study. And If I could only find that winged guy... He was a hybrid but wouldn't let me research him... " He sighed.

She hugged Jay smiling abit "My neck still hurts" she pulled away from the hug

"Unfortunately I don't know any hybrids." She sighed. "Is there anyone else in this city? I mean, do you know anyone else? I'm just curious..." She looked down. She always had room for more friends. She whipped her head up. "Did you say your neck still hurts? I see why the rock didn't work... You're not a vampire yet! The change hasn't been made... That makes more sense."

"Its only throbbing abit" she murrmerd "I dont wanna be a vampire, im fine being a phoenix"

Meg sighed. "Well, you're gonna have to change into a vampire until you can try that rock again, that's for sure. But you will have a be a vampire for a minute or so before trying the rock. Do your teeth hurt yet? Or do you already have fangs?"
