Raven smiled and nudged her softly then relaxed and felt her fall still, slowly looking up at her. He noticed her eyes closed and he smiled sweetly, drawing the blankets over her as carefully as he could. His hand held hers as she rested and the thunder became background noise and no longer scared him. It was actually calming to be in a dry place, snuggled into a bed instead of the damp and wet cave floors. He curled himself around Nuri, closing his own eyes to rest.

Nuri smiled in her sleep snuggling close to him and then fell into a deeper sleep. When she woke up hours later she yawned softly and looked down at him sleeping and smiled staying still not wanting to wake him up.

Raven wasn't a light sleeper but not a heavy one either. He snores lightly as always, still holding Nuri in his arms. He felt her moving and stirred slightly, making a slight groan noise. He stretched himself out, his wings tucking into his back more. He opened his eyes and smiled, hugging Nuri, " Good... Whatever time it is... " He squinted. It seemed to be dusk or dawn. He didn't know. The light drizzle of rain tapped along the cabins roof. " Hm... It's pretty dark... " He reached for the lamp on a dusty cabinet and clicked the switch, nothing. He sighed and sat up, " Light a fire? I think this place has an old fireplace in the back. " He suggested, " Unless you want to stay in the dark... " He smirked, suggesting much playfulness.

I got out of the water and shook off. I started walking again, head low. I walked around and collected big sticks and parts of the trees that can be the cover for my shelter. I made my shelter and tried to make a fire, eventually, it lit up. I layed down as a wolf and tried to fall asleep. Watching the fire, I closed my eyes and later woke up hearing crackling. I looked up at the tree I had put on the sticks and saw it half burned. I ran out and grabbed a big leaf, cupping water in the river into the leaf and walked back over to my shelter, pouring the water on it. It stopped burning and so I put the fire outside and made my shelter better. The fire was low and so I went back inside and fell asleep.

Aquamarine shrugged. "I can do that for a second or two became it hurts. I didn't get a fireproof throat." The duckling hopped on to her head from her lifted wing and coughed out a indigo spark. Aquamarine jumped and brushed it out of her hair. "Oh my..."

TYLER

I stare with awe at the little duck,"that's amazing!"I exclaime before looking at the girl,"is it supposed to do that?" I ask her.

"Well... Uh, nope. Nope not really." Aquamarine took the duckling off of her head. She held it close and it looked up at her. "The day I found it, I was chasing a crazy looking rat bird monster out of my house. I blasted it with fire after it went under my bed. When I went to dispose of the ashes I found the egg. I put ice around it to cool it off, when it melted a few seconds later I rolled the egg out with my tail on to a blanket with more ice." She rolled up her gem decorated tail and sat on it. "dragon fire makes a creature inside an egg have the ability to breathe fire. That's why my throat isn't fireproof. I was only half incubated."

TYLER

Tyler nods,"That makes sense..kind of." He says,"but I always thought it was genetic, dragons breathing fire." I look at the duck,"does it do anything special?" Tyler asks.

"Not genetic, no. Some dragons are born without." Aquamarine held the duckling, her eyes widened. "Wait... Waaaaiiit..." She looked up. "It's a dragon duck!" She said the rather humorous words very seriously. "It doesn't age, it breaths sparks... They did this to more creatures. They..." She looked back down. "They sent them to get me...? To harm, They did! The filthy idiots!"

Nuri smiled softly as he hugged her and she snuggled close to him then looked up at the window. The light rain actually was pretty soothing as she watched it fall. Looking back over at Raven she smirked lightly and arched an eyebrow slightly. "I think it would be nice to stay in the dark a little while longer." She said softly and put an arm behind her head and the other on her stomach.

He grinned and crawled back on the bed and half way laid on her, nuzzled her cheek with his as he kissed it softly, " Ok... We will stay a little bit longer. " He struggled to place an arm behind her back, trying to wrap it around her. He finally managed and held her beneath him, moving his head away from hers and placing his face in the sheets with a soft sigh. " Wanna play that game again? I have a question for you. " Before she could answer he went ahead, " If you had a best friend what do you prefer the gender? " His voice was muffled in the sheets and after the question, his hand behind her back began to scratch at her softly.

Nuri shifted so it would be easier to place a arm around her. She looked over as he placed his face in the sheets and she smiled kissing his temple gently. "Sure. Odd question but I guess a guy. Less drama." She said softly and she closed her eyes for a moment feeling him itch her back and sighed softly enjoying it.

" Is that for sure... " He snorted and kept scratching, " Probably a bird... Oh wait. " He sighed, " He is my best friend... Did you know I found Kar when I first came here after escaping from that orphanage? I found him. He was just a little chick by then. " He smiled, " Now he's a nightmare. " He groaned and rolled over, getting off Nuri. " Then you came along... And I would have never thought we would come this far... " He grinned, " I'm glad you met me. "
