"Of course, ....um but about what about you asking or something else?" she asked. Pheonix would gladly give her thouts on anything, but she wanted to make sure it was the correct thing too.

Jake examined her face as she spoke. He wondered if he was the source of the fear coming from her. "I'm sure you are. You wouldn't have helped Caspian if you weren't."

Faina fumbled with her fingers mindlessly, using them as a distraction so she didn't have to directly look at him. She gently ran her finger along one of the scratches on her arm, still safe while partway behind Caspian. "Was that helping him?" she mused softly, not knowing quite how to reply. She was proud of herself for even talking to the human without bolting, however. That was quite a large improvement for her. Nevertheless, she was tempted to run.

Jake studied acaspian before he nodded, mostly to himself. "Yes, you helped him. When he was like that, I saw you talk to him like he was a person and not a tiger. Even though Caspain had lost control, you still recognized him as a sane creature." Jake made sure to speak slowly and evenly, as to not trigger anyone at that point in time.

Caspian

Caspian didn't particularly mind how Jake was studying him, after all it didn't seem the other male was trying to analyze him or anything of that sort. Again he didn't speak since he figured it wasn't his place to do so, so he only nodded to show he agreed with the expiation and that she had helped him. He noticed how Faina was still slightly hiding behind him, but he let her and figured that she move out into the open if she wanted to.

Faina shrugged slightly out of embarrassment, pretending as if her twisting hands were the most fascinating thing in the world. Subconsciously she backed up just one step, overwhelmed but somehow enjoying the racing of her own heart. "That was nothing... I already knew that he wasn't a tiger, that he was a mutant. And mutants are good. They don't hurt on purpose, unlike your kind, the human counterpart," she kept her voice low. She wanted to scream that he knew nothing of sanity and insanity but decided against it.

It seemed that midnight had had enough patting for one day, so she stopped her rhythmic stroking and stood up again, brushing off all of the dust. She looked around, feeling awkward, when her gaze finally rested on Caspian. She knew something had to be said about the situation that happened earlier in order for them both to have peace. Taking a deep breath, she walked slowly up to him, trying to formulate what she would say in her mind. Before she knew it she was face to face with him and she still had no clue of hat to say. "Uh..." she began, shifting her feet slightly, "I just, just wanted you to know that I forgive you for what happened. I uh... yeah." wow, that was a great start she thought sarcastically to herself. She stared at the floor as she waited for a response, if he would even talk to her again.

Caspian's words caught in his throat suddenly as she looked at him and then spoke. It was a simple side effect of worry and a habit of fearing the worst when there shouldn't be anything to fear at all. But despite this he looked at her and listened to what she had to say to him. 'Forgiveness, she's giving you for forgiveness, stop worrying.' he thought to himself. He briefly made eye contact with her before gaze shifted to the ground. "....Thank you... I'm sorry though, for losing control like that. I promise nothing like that will happen again if I can help it..." he told her, speaking a little quieter than he usually did.

Skyler:
She looked from the floor back to his face when he spoke again. She thought before she spoke again, trying to find the right words "No need to be sorry - I understand that it must be hard. This" She said, gesturing around her slightly with her hands "has effected everyone, including me, and I'm just glad you finally came back" she finished, giving him a slight smile. She realised that she had probably said too much about the radiation effect on her, but realised that her probably knew already. I mean, he was there when she showed Jake. Granted, he was in tiger form, but he may have heard nonetheless. She hoped he wasn't scared of the black veins like she was.
