Faina shut her eyes as she felt the claws dig into her, but she didn't make a sound. She didn't want to provoke the tiger any more, and she hoped that Caspian was strong enough to overcome the tiger's reaction to blood. "Caspian, you need to stop! You need to take control!" she hissed when she got her mouth close enough to the ear. At one point, instinctively, she swatted his paw away, hoping she didn't make the tiger worse when she did that. She felt relieved that he was able to retract the claws, though, but not because it affected her. It meant that Caspian was in there, and he could hear her.
