Faina was ahead of Pheonix but was still able to hear the feathers flutter as she shifted. Fains quickened her pace in order to reach them before anything happened, but it seemed as if Caspian was still calm and sort of in control of his tiger form. From what she could tell, he seemed a bit uneasy, but still wasn't fully tiger yet. When she reached them, she avoided the human at all costs. "I brought your sister back. Poor girl was lost," she half-joked to Caspian. "And I think I know how you can change back."

Jake smiled at Caspian, glad that he could at least attempt to help him in some way; even if he only spoke words that could possibly be useless. He looked up when the screaming girl had returned and listened to what she had to say. He smiled as she revealed that she could help Caspian.

Pheonix & Caspian

Pheonix laughed a little at the comment that Faina had made about her being lost but didn't protest against it. It was mostly true after all. Caspian smiled at Jake, which was a little odd since he didn't do that too often for strangers. He looked up at her when she said she could help. "Well, since I can't figure it out myself, what do you have in mind?" he asked. He was pretty much open to most ideas at this point. Sure, he had taken Jake's advice but he knew if he had a surge of emotion or lost control he wouldn't be himself at all.

Faina completely ignored the human, keeping her attention on Caspian to distract herself. She didn't even spare the human a single glance. She knelt down slightly so she wasn't completely looking down at Caspian. "Well, since we still have the radiation inside of us, it's going to react violently to you fighting it. You need to let it in and share control with it. You need to stop fighting your mutation because that's only going to make it worse. It's only going to make it harder to control," she elaborated with urgency in her tone.

Caspian

Caspian's mind was clouded, just like he had said, so it was a few moments before he completely grasped and understood what was said. He had originally thought he was sharing control but if Faina was correct and he was in his current state then he was barely sharing control at all. He wanted to try, he wanted to change back, to not be so submerged in this other side of himself, but he still feared what would happen if he accepted it. Would his instincts be as bad, maybe worse? And would he end up hurting someone? He was certain that he really didn't want to hurt anyone there. "Wow....I've really messed up then..I... what it's already too violent to do that?"

Skyler:
She stood up and backed away as Phoenix and the other girl came back, to give them their space while they tried to help Caspian. She eventually ended up with Jess, trying to calm her down as she sensed the presence of the animal as she observed the scene. The other girl appeared to be talking with Caspian, as he struggled with his animal side. She sighed and looked back at Jake. He was the fist person who had been nice to her about her veins and she hoped, when the others found out, they wouldn't be scared of her either.

Skyler:
She didn't notice the rope slipping until it was too late. One minute it was tied, and the next it snapped. As soon as this happened Jess took off into the night, straight past Caspian. "Jess, DON"T!" was all she could cry before her dog disappeared into the darkness...

Caspian

The feline part of him sensed the dog long before his human part did. And yet Jess had still startled him. ' NO! No, I have to keep control. I have t-' that was the last thing he got to think. The tiger took over with a surge of violence and it didn't even appear that Caspian was a part of the tiger at all. And before anything could be done, it attacked the approaching dog. The poor canine was dead within minutes.

Faina let out a low hiss of frustration. Not good enough, Faina! She mentally screamed to herself, not good enough! She sprinted at full speed towards the tiger and dead dog. "Stay!" she commanded everyone else as she did the first thing she could think of; she tackled the tiger, dragging him to the ground. She held on persistently, leaning close to his ear whenever she could. "Caspian, I know you're in there. You have to listen to me," she told him whenever possible.

Pheonix & Caspian

Pheonix didn't move. She had heard what Faina had said but she was still too shocked by her brother's actions to show she had heard or really do much of anything. Caspian, or the tiger really was fighting against the girl who had talked him. It's claws were still out and it slashed at her a couple a times in self-defense. The words were heard, but who was Caspian? '..That's me,..I need to stop. I have to stop.' he thought. He was able to a least manage to retract his claws so that he wasn't cutting into her.
