"It's okay, you were only trying to protect me." Casey replied calmly, she let go of Marcy's collar and went back into the kitchen. She heard Johnathan's voice again so she hoped up on the counter and sat down waiting for him to leave, she didn't want anyone else knowing where she stores her things.

"Im not sure why but that kid seems familiar," he pondered aloud, figuring Jackson could help. He watched Echo carefully as she approached Casey, sniffing around her and looking up at her. "What did he do before this all happened?"

"Sarge? His actual name is Jace Ryder. He was in the Army for a while." He told him. He leaned up against the counter and thought. "Why? Do you know him?" He asked. This guy seemed like the military type, and it wouldn't be impossible for him to know his brother. "He's kind of a slack-off, so if you do know him, it's probably not for a good reason. Though he has his moments."

Casey gazed down at the large canine, she held out her hand so the dog could sniff her. Marcy sat and watched closely, she then went into the kitchen and sniff Echo before snorting and went back to the couch and sat on the couch watching everyone closely.

Jackson laughed a little. "Yeah.. That's him. Pretty sure he ran his own little market in the Army too. All I know is that he only got 3 years before he came home." He joked. He held his hand out to offer a handshake. This was someone his brother knew, even if it wasn't personally. Jackson looked at Casey. "Sorry ma'am. Sometimes I forget the groups aren't supposed to get along."
