Hikaru let out a sigh of frustration before turning to look out the window, boredom evident in his eyes. This was nothing more than a business transaction, an important role for him to play in order to better keep his family's business growing. A merger through a marriage arranged through their parents. As beautiful as his fiancée was, she probably didn't care for the situation one bit. He certainly didn't, though it was probably the only way his parents could think of to make him open up to the opposite gender. After a heartbreak a few years ago, he had completely disregarded girls and seen them as people who just wanted to get close to someone so that they might be able to throw that boy's heart on the ground and stomp on it without mercy. Better to ignore them. That wouldn't be so easy with this girl, not when Hikaru's parents expected for him to fall in love after getting to know her. He'd get right on that.....just as soon as he threw himself off a cliff. Sighing once more, the young Kato continued to look out the window as he asked in his usual bored tone, "So......what are your likes and dislikes?"

Aiko heard him muttering to himself. "We can go shopping at the mall nearby. I don't have a dress either, so we can go shop together if you want." She offered, smiling. She definitely wanted to go to this dance.

"Tch, do you want to go?" He asked, tilting his head some. "And who'd you take if I didn't go?~" He chirped teasingly.

"Ooh, that sounds good~" He chirped. "Maybe I could get a dress, I am a princess after all~" He said , trying not to laugh at his own comment.

Kyo jolted some, glancing over with a faint, quiet gasp. "What're you doing?" he asked quietly, his little ears still low. He didn't say anything, faintly hearing his heart in his ears from getting startle. He found a bit odd it didn't stop though after realizing who it was. He couldn't figure out what to say, he worried a bit, but he had no idea why, what was there to worry about..?

"Shopping? YOu really wouldn't mind?" He asked quietly, scratching at his head. "If, you want to." He said with a small smile toward her.

He took a small step away from the man. "Don't call me that," he repeated softly, although one of his ears twitched underneath his beanie the way it sometimes did when he was happy. He turned to look at the counselor as the male began to talk and he felt his face pale. "A dance? And you think I should go?" he asked in his usual sarcastic tone, although a bit quieter than normal.

She heard her fiance's sigh of frustration and looked back up at him, concern in her eyes. She wished she could do something interesting or entertaining- she hated seeing people unhappy, a feeling she realized she might be seeing a lot of in her future husband. He seemed quite bored and tough on the outside, and it made her a bit curious as to what might lie beneath all his emotional layers. She smiled softly as she heard his question and thought for a moment before answering, "Well, I like music, poetry, and helping others." she said and watched his expression through the reflection of the car window. "I don't like sappy movies though, also..." she paused and shook her head, wondering if she should say it or not. "I also don't like it when others are sad. It's stupid to say that though... especially for a businessman's daughter and future wife.."

"....Maybe." Rei replied, trying to hide the fact that she did want to go. She smirked when he asked her who she'd take with her if he didn't go. She put a finger to chin, as if in thought. "Hmmm~ Probably Ayato, your lovely roommate." A smirk remaining on her face.

Una chuckled a moment, pausing and giving a quick cough. "Hah, seriously?" He gave a small sigh, leaning toward her. "You knooow, maybe I will go. For you" He chirped, thinking a moment and smiling. "Like I said, I'd do anything to keep you happy." He said with a light, teasing wink.

The tall male let outa bored sigh as he listened to the principal talk about a school dance. Jasper looked around and heard most of the students whispering and talking about what they were going to wear and whatnot. He ran his fingers through his red hair, he didn't really care for the dance. He was a pretty lonely person anyways, what was the point? Once the announcement was over and done with, Jasper fixed his headphones so they were places over his ears. He shoved his hands in the pocket of his hoodie and walked off, wanting to get back to his guitar as soon as possible.

Minori sat on the nude roots of a tree just inside the school grounds. She poured substance after substance into small test tubes, seeing if they'd react. Every now and then, she'd take a look at the "magic" book her mother gave her. The small female known as Minori was deep in love with anything magical and mystical. She loved the stars, the sky, the moon. The ants, the trees and everything in-between. He eyes were full of curiosity as they drifted from book page to test tube. She was so concentrated on her work, that she had missed the announcement for the school dance. Not like Minori would mind anyways, she'd probably look for different ingredients anyways.

"Haha, Prince and Princess at a ball~ How lovely" He chirped happily, standing with a small stretch. "I can't wait~" He squealed lightly, obviously excited.

Kyo tensed, no he didn't just.. He.. Kyo stared at Yuu for a moment, biting his tongue. He wanted to say no but, something in the back of his mind told him to say yes. His heart pounded for a moment before he murmured. "S-sure.." He couldn't utter anything else, simply glancing down nervous. His mouth ran dry and his breathing got faster. Why'd he say yes? He was horrified at the thought of people staring, just wondering. He shook his head some, glancing up for a moment at Yuu again.

He shook his head at Masa. "I don't go to dances," he said before turning his head toward the other man. He thought for a minute and then said, "You can call me Kurai Tamashi." Giving him the Japanese words for 'dark soul', words commonly used to describe himself.
