Spindal looked up and over at Jason as he left. Dont tell me he's creeped out by me. Why's he leaving? she asked herself, a wave of panic flashed over her as she jogged after him. Please don't tell me.. She let her train of thought fade, pushing the door open and letting it slam behind her. She was startled by the slam, collapsing into the mass of black spiders. ...Well now he's see to notice. Good going, your fist chance at somewhat of a friend, and you blew it. She said, putting herself down for it.

My head turned back at the drastic slamming of a door. My eyes saw her on the ground, and I could tell she was obviously started. I set down my back-pack where I was standing and was grateful I could ditch the thing. I kicked it to the side and walk up to her. "You okay?" I asked with one eyebrow up.

Spindals eyes were shut, half expecting herself to have had turned into the spiders. She opened her eyes slowly and looked up at him, jumping up quickly an stumbling back, against the door. "Ah, uh... Y-yes, I'm okay... J-just fine... S-swell.." She said, stuttering. "I have to go, sorry! Bye! See you uh. Some time?" She asked as she pushed the door open with her back and ran out to the courtyard.What was that? She asked herself, stopping under a tree to catch her breath. She leaned on the tree, staring back at the door. "He better not follow me." She said in a, rather loud, whine. She hid her face with her hands, closing her eyes once more.

Personality//"Well, let's just say... I'm the smart one of the group." Opal is a thinker, and praised for her brilliance. She is clever and quick-witted, allowing her to solve large equations accuratley in her head. She crushes the blonde sterotype with her grades alone, which are never under an A. She is extremley talented in poetry, writing, and solving puzzles or riddles. She is also an obseesive reader, and tends to be timid or shy upon first meeting someone. But once you look past her smarts, there's a heart of gold. She's a loyal, enpathetic, and conpassionate friend, and protects the ones she loves. She's also quirky and a fun girl, though she isn't a risk-taker.
History//*coughs akwardly* "I'd rather not tell you..." Opal's mother was mentally insane, and shot Opal's dad (killing him). She was abused by her mother until the CPA stepped in. Opal lived on her own until she saved up enough money to buy her own apartment.

I nimbly climb up onto the bight tree just outside the schoolyard, the one physical thing I'm good at. I sigh in peace as the breeze hits me, causing my wavy blue to Blondel hair to sway gracefully in the wind. I pull out The Journal Of Curious Letters... one of my favorite books. I get lost in Atticus' story, feeling shock for the umteenth time as he gets attacked by the gnat rat, happy as he meets Sophia, and sad as he almost looses his dad. I get so lost in the wonderful story I almost completley go unawares of the time.

Ash was out in the courtyard again, sitting at a bench, quiet as they read the book in their hands. Looking up, they noticed something blue, catching their eye. They stood, closing the leather bound book and stepping towards the tree they saw the glimpse of blue in. Looking up as they neared they saw it was a girl. "Mind me asking, why you are up in that tree?" They asked, holding the book in front of their chest.

I almost jump into surprise as I hear a voice suddenly, seemingly directed at me. "Oh, me?" I say steadily and emotionless. "I much prefer reading in a more scenic spot... like a meadow... but oviousley there are none here. So, this tree was my comprimise." I say intelligence woven through my voice. At first glance, I can't really dicifer weather this person is male or female, but I don't judge.... I'm accepting that's way.

"Ah, I see." Ash said with a simple nodd. They glanced down at the book in their hands, silent asking it for questions. "So what are you reading?" They asked, looking back up at Opal. If they had the upper body strength, or any strength at all, they'd pull themself up to be beside her, just so it wouldn't be as awkward. They played with a ripped piece of lether, hanging from the spine of the thin book, waiting for her answer.

My eyebrows furrow together as I wonder what that was all about. A spider crawled up on one of my converse and I picked it up. "Why, hello there." I said to it curiously. It chirped as I began depending to set it down. I ly my hand gently on the floor and watch it crawl off. Being the Greek son of the dead, spiders didn't scare me much. I turn my attention back to how the girl responded to my presence. No surprises lay in that present, I thought silently to myself.
