Ai blinked as he lightly felt the kiss on his cheek, wondering why it was so difficult to see Asiel and difficult to feel the kiss. "B-b..abe..?" he asked in a rather quiet and raspy voice, unable to talk any louder.

Asiel looks at him"yes baby?"he asks, he voice was very hard to hear but Ai could hear it fine. To Ai he would look and sound pretty much then same because he was his mate but to others it would be harder

Ai glanced down and flexed his hands, fingers feeling stiff and they were difficult to move along with the rest of his body. Frowning at the sensation he could almost swear that it felt like he was dead, "w-wh..what happened..? M-my body feels..w..weird.." he said, feeling almost like a zombie for some reason.

Asiel smiles"you blacked out but you will be fine"he looks at the doctor"right?"

Ai frowned and glanced over at Haruto who hesitantly nodded his head, finding it best if he didn't tell him what really happened. Deciding not to say anymore about it the demon forced himself to sit up, body still feeling stiff and cold, making him wonder what really happened and why he felt this way.

Asiel smiles"I love you baby"he says

Ai looked over at Asiel with dull, almost glass-like blue eyes, all life practically sucked out of them due to what happened. "I love you too.." he said softly, voice sounding almost..different from before. Glancing down at himself the demon noticed how pale his skin was, looking somewhat gray as well.

Asiel sighs and looks down"Ai...you died"he says

Ai's light blue eyes widened at his words and he found himself tearing up slightly, quickly looking down as all the pieces fell into place for him. "And you..died..to save me..?" he whispered, body beginning to shake as he began to recall what had happened.
