Endal gazed at Lisica unblinking for a few moments. She didn't now what to do - didn't know how to display emotions, or how to feel them. She barely even knew what it was like to not be hated, only knowing care from the brief time with her mother. "I would... want to learn what... happiness... is..."

Seeing that the other had started crying, Dan placed a cold hand on his cheek and shook his head, "there's no use wasting your tears on me..don't cry for me..it isn't worth it..I never mattered much in the first place.." he whispered, hardly even able to get the words out.

Endal glanced at Lisica's hand, then slowly nodded. She shifted to pull her hood back up, making sure it was pulled as far forward as it would go to assure it shadowed her face properly. She looked back to the older female, then reached her hand forward to take her hand, her movements still stiff and awkward. "O...kay..."

"Fine...but I'm keeping my promise" he said, wiping away a tear, he ran out of the cave, but he didnt go for the knife, instead he jumped off the cliff, he closed his eyes as he jumped.

Lisica smile then shrunk down into her fox form "follow me i know a better place to hide" her white fur stood out in the darkness

Due to this anger rose up inside the demons chest and he did the unthinkable, he forced his wings to pop out from his back and dived down quicker to the bottom of the cliff, catching him before he had the chance to fall. "YOU IDIOT! WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS!" the demon screamed, ruby red eyes filled with tears, "you can't do this..it isn't worth it..I know we just met and all but..I find myself..wanting to protect you..and..I can't help but feel..like a jerk when you say that you'll end your life just because I want to end mine..my real question is why..why do you care so much..? What's the reason..? And I won't let you go until you tell me.." Dan said, holding Shadow close to his chest and allowing tears to flow down his cheeks.

Endal nodded slowly, beckoning for Lisica to lead the way. "Alright," she said, her voice slightly louder. She moved her hand down back to her side, and would follow nearby once the albino started to move.

Lisica darted out of the alley way and glanced around quickly then signaled for endal to follow. she led the younger girl to a shack with a broken handle she nosed the door open and morphed into her mid form. she pulled a ragged blanket off the top shelf and layed it out next to a old pillow. she turned back and looked at endal. "you can sleep here if you'd like i'll stand gaurd while you sleep I know its hard to sleep while keeping an eye and ear open for people.

"I just thought..." Shadow mumbled, "I......I" he opened his eyes, not knowing what to say. "I fell in....... I'm sorry" he said.

Not quite accepting his answer Dan looked him straight in the eyes, determined to get to the bottom of all of this. "Tell me...and there's nothing to be sorry for..I just want to know.." he pleaded, legs wobbling as they struggled under the weight of both Shadow and Dan.
