Although he felt kinda bad, Sol couldn't doubt that he was happy, happy to have someone who cares about him enough to protect him. "Thank you..you wouldn't believe the hell I've had to go through just to get to this point.." he mumbled softly, voice noticeably flat and dull.

Sol frowned at this and rolled over onto his side so that his back was facing her, feeling like a complete fool for allowing his emotions to get the better of him once again, "s-sorry..I..I need to learn when to shut up.." he mumbled sadly, mentally kicking himself for being so stupid and inconsiderate.

Eric nods"alright, I will come over every night, leave the window unlocked unless you don't want to see me. I will come in and lay with you and you can talk to me, use me as a pillow or anything till you fall asleep then I will leave so you don't get in trouble....how does that sound?"

Sol nearly jumped out of his skin as he felt her roll him back over to his previous position so she could look into his, dull, lifeless eyes, however a dark blush dusted his pale colored cheeks at her words and he could almost swear that he heard his own heart beating due to the nervousness that clouded his mind. "I..I honestly don't know what to say..other than..thank you..all throughout my life..I was exposed to hostile and negative emotions..so this..is a nice change.." he whispered.
