Ava smiled, "Okay. I'll try, I guess.." She closed her eyes tight and thought about the fight with her grandma. That made her feel strong. She opened her eyes, hoping to be in a different form. By she was still standing there. As a human. With ears.

I sensed someone on my trail. I jumped into the lake to try to mask my scent a little. I suddenly spotted Cassy exiting the tree house alone. The perfect time to strike. I swam over there and waited till she had her back to me before slashing her hip and fleeing again.

Cassy
I remembered I had buried something in the ground outside. As I went to retrieve it, I heard a splash in the lake, but thought nothing of it. Then I suddely had a searing pain in my hip and I cried out, just glimpsing a wolf running off.
