Martin woke up grogily rubbing his eyes, groaning as he got up and walked out of his room to the bathroom and did his morning routine of getting ready. After eating a breakfast consisting of an orange and piece of mostly burnt toast he was on his way out the door with a fishing pole in one hand and a tackle box, filled with baiting for the said fishing pole, as well as a journal he draws and writes his emotions or what had happened in the day. Shortly arriving to the lake, he found a decent spot to settle down at, so he set his stuff down, baited the end of his rod, and cast into the lake. Not hearing the usual small noise of the hook and bobber hitting the water, Martin saw that it had hit a male figure in the lake, not knowing if the person had noticed or not. "Ah, crap." he muttered to himself.

Background: Leila is Katy's older sister and by the time she was nine she was able to shift, she kept the secret well, although she didn't feel comfortable keeping her talent all locked up. She'd often sneak outside during the night while the parents where asleep. Then that day happened when Katy had shown her parents how she could shift into a wolf at the age of 13. Leila kept herself well hidden and out of sight through these times and would often not come home. She came home one day to screaming and shouting and ran down to the basement where Katy was huddled in a ball and her mother and father where mentally and dangerously fighting with a butchers knife in their hands. She and Katy watched with their very own eyes, see their parents take their lives. At this point Leila was shocked and immortalized with fear, the social workers had forced Katy to come with the while she was up in her room. She had to get out of the city, if that was what her own parents would do to their children then imagine what it would be like for the members of the public, or even worse, the government. She deicided to move travel to the outskirts of new York where she could be alone and at peace but also be able to get into town quickly. She now wonders the forest.
