Tovheirs face went pale and he cleared his throat. "I... I, um... I didn't mean...."

Pallon nodded. "I see... Good I wouldn't want to have to protect you from him, even though you're more than capable of protecting yourself."

Lis smiled slightly. "It's fine."

Tovheir sighed. Idiot. Watch what you say.

Rin looked at him with a smirk, "Nice save." The swearing had stopped momentarily, and she took a sigh of relief. "Tai'vil is overly protective of his family, to the point of insanity it seems, but he's still a good man given any other situation".

Pallon blushed slightly. He nodded. "So I noticed. I thought he was going to kill me when he saw you were hurt, especially when he reached for me, but he just took my shirt instead."

"Yeah what happened when I was out" she gave him a questioning look.

Pallon took in a deep breath and sighed. "Well do you remember me carrying you?"

Rin nodded, "barely, but do go on".

Pallon continued glancing up at her. "Well you passed out in my arms and I ran as fast as I could back to camp without tripping over anything. You were bleeding heavily, and I ran into the camp yelling for help. As soon as Tai'vil saw you out and in my arms he bolted to us. I set you down and was explaining what happened. He reached for me, and I thought he was going to kill me. Instead he used my shirt to get the bleeding to slow. I went in search of help. Lis and Tovheir returned before I could find anyone else. Lis healed you and Tovheir pretty much dragged me away telling me to give space and that Tai'vil would try to kill me if I stayed close..."

Rin's eyes narrowed, trying to understand everything Pallon had explained. Her cheeks reddened slightly. "I'm sorry you're being put through this".
