She circled the creature slowly from a fair distance, her eyes judging its moves and trying to deciper its weaknesses

The creature stood on its hind legs just as Ryne came around the tree to see it. The beast towered over both Koka and Ryne. It laughed in a gurgling manner.

"Why are you laughing?" She asked, her expression dull.

The beast looked at her with blood red eyes. "You think you can win."

"It's fine" Rin smirked at him,"maybe it'll calm my nerves".They approached the forests edge and she turned to Pallon, "I'm ....I'm sorry for not listening, but for the record, I never leave anyone behind... ever".

When Rin turned she almost ran straight into Pallon. He looked at her and smiled. "It's ok Rin. I dont blame you. It's just... frustraiting... And your father would have done the same thing."

"I dont believe i can win, but running would be useless against an enemy that is stronger, faster, and most likely smarter then oneself." She said.

"Then I have more of him in me than I realized" Rin smiled and tried her hardest not to look down at Pallon's chest. She could feel the heat eminating from him. Her cheeks became flushed and she continued on uncomfortably, the venom left burn marks on her armor and the blood turned her hair crispy.

The creature chuckled again. "Then you are sssmarter than the othersss..."

Ryne was inching towards the creature.

Pallon followed her, not being able to ignore the flush to her cheeks. He then noticed the burns. "Are you alright? You have burn marks..." His voice was concerned.

"I'm fine," she slowed to walk by his side, "the venom burns clothing and armor apparently, but if it doesn't enter the bloodstream it seems to be harmless. The blood on the other hand" She tried to run a hand through her hair but snarls caught her fingers. She pouted a bit, annoyed.
