Violet looked at the girl and rolled up one of her sleeves

The girl ended up biting a chunk off the wall, but spat it out. She turned back to the others, growling defensively as she had no clue who they were.

"safe," Violet spoke to the girl, getting up, and walking over with fragile steps. (Telepathy...)

The girl had heard that word before, but couldn't quite match it. However, she quickly saw that no one here was going to hurt her nor the cub, and allowed herself to relax a bit.

Violet walked over slower, her foot very careful where she stepped, as if there were mines.

"Does anyone know where we are?" Lauren asked in a voice almost too quiet to be heard.

September closed her eyes and sat silently, while August began to look around the room.

"We were taken," Violet says softly, not looking directly at her. "Obviously because we are different..."

The girl looked at Violet, slightly confused. She seemed human, but the girl couldn't be sure. Slowly, she walked up to Violet, examining her.

(August and September are both 15, and Lauren's 18)

August walked over to the door, checking to see if it was locked. It wasn't but he didn't bother leaving. He didn't want to leave in case there were unknown dangers outside.

Lauren folded her wings against her back and sat down on the floor, crossing her legs.
