Adam got up out of bed. Last night, he remembered sharpening his daggers. So, he went to the closet sort of room where he stored many of his various weapons, and put the daggers he was sharpening back in their place. He grabbed his sword, intending to practice alongside the soldiers while training them.

I sighed and I sat down on the floor, scrubbing away the pen marks I made against the wall before I went away with a bucket of water and soap, one of the maids told me to so I will... I thought to myself, annoyed , I began to hum to myself softly.

Dominic was putting away the training swords. He heard his name and turned his head slightly. "Yes, Scarlet?" He murmured, turning around fully.

Nefertiti hummed quietly and noticed a little sweets shop. She grinned and walked in.

"The King is back. I told him about the battle with Seyenia. He said not to attack," she said somewhat awkwardly.

Dominic stiffened and scowled. "Did he say why?" He asked her, his voice straining to stay polite.

"He wants the soldiers to be healed. Though I do understand your desire to strike back, it's better to attack with healthy men rather then wounded ones," she said looking at him. "At least none of the civilians got hurt."

He sighed and nodded, understanding. "Alright. That's a good idea, I suppose, but what if Seyenia decides to attack again?" Dominic asked quietly, pulling the wraps off of his hands.

"Well, I suppose then we'll have no choice but to fight back. Hopefully they'll stay away for a bit. There were many injured on their side as well."

Dominic snorted. "So? The dictator probably doesn't care." He muttered and pulled on a shirt. "Is the King still here?" he asked curiously.
