Vlandore blinked and cursed under his breath. "You can see those, eh?" He exhaled a sigh. "If I uh, use my powers, those marks will start to form and spread the more I use 'em. When they reach my eyes while they're black, I pass out. That can range anywhere from four hours to two months and usually Velshore takes over until I recover."

Sarusi shrugged. "Well, nothin' other than bein' left alone. She's needy." She chuckled slightly, then looked around. Inhaling deeply, she shouted, "Yo Maru! If ya don't hurry yer butt we're gonna leave without ya!"

May smiled faded and hugged vlandore tight "then don't overdo it even if me or any of us get hurt"then she told herself "I'll make sure if i get hurt for vlandore not to heal it"

Sarusi grinned. "Alright! So, off ta the mountains we go then, right?" She nodded, then turned on her heel and marched off in the direction of the mountain range, not checking to see if the others were following.

Vlandore blinked at her tight embrace, and his own smile faded to a frown. He rose a hand, lightly petting her head. "Hey, don't worry. I'm not as much of a fool as I might seem, I'm really intelligent. At least, when it comes to things like this." He gave a smile again, attempting to be reassuring. "So don't worry about ol' Vlandy, 'kay? I've been handling myself since I was a seven, I'd hope I know what I'm doing."

Sarusi continued onward and on, up until they were at the base of the mountains. With an exhale she sat down, furrowing her eyebrows as she looked up. Verisna gave a small roar of sorts as she chewed on Sarusi's shirt, having woken up as her owner sat down. "It's gettin' a bit dark," she murmured as she stared up at the sky.

Vlandore smiled wider, then his expression shifted again, becoming more serious. "Now to get it out of the way, because I go through this with all of my allies; don't think of yourself as a burden to me." He put a hand on her head, petting it again. "You're not, and you never will be. I live to help and heal others. It's... how I give meaning to my life, I guess..." He shrugged.
