- Sybil had been lost in her day dream for only a moment. For when Melo even so much as suggested that she would be able to come along, she wasn't quite sure how to react. Her immediate response was to exclaim loudly that he was insane then send herself into a fit of coughing due to the quick inhale and shout.
Once she had calmed herself, she launched into a flurry of words that she didn't think over before spewing. "Me? Go to a ball? That's unheard of, that's idiotic, i-impossible, dangerous, and it would be totally amazing!" though her relaxed nature had previously disappeared, it returned again with more of a brightness to it. She was not solemn in her reflections, but totally and completely ecstatic. Part of her knew that this couldn't be happening. She knew that it would never work. Who would let a homeless thief into a ball full of royals, let alone Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princess from all around? But, this hidden voice in her head was pushed away by the long lost feelings of hope and excitement.
"It's absolutely absurd. I would stick out like an apple among oranges." Despite her conflicting views, her eyes sparkled with hope, almost seeming slightly glossy, "You would take me-- some alley rat, a thief with no notion of how to behave around royalty-- to a formal gathering in a different kingdom?" she couldn't believe it. And Relgia of all places! It was the kingdom of excess. They were known for their extreme tastes and extravagant ways. She had longed to view the expensive palace. Think of all of the riches there. No. This was not about taking. She wouldn't need to steal. That wouldn't be needed. "I'd love to go." she said at last, looking at the Prince with a smile for the first time. She looked much younger when she smiled, not so beaten by the streets and torn by something locked away. When she noticed the male's cheeks, her smile only turned to a grin and she spared a short laugh. "You're not very full of yourself for a prince." she commented.

- Fendrel shook his head at Chris, a soft chuckle could be heard from him. "Alright then, tomorrow, how about we see who handles their alcohol better at the ball? First one to get slapped by a lady loses." he proposed boldly. If he was going to the ball, he was going to do so in the most entertaining way possible. "Though I doubt either of us needs the help of intoxication to get ourselves slapped." He concluded brightly, making quite the joke out of it.
His dreams of drinking competitions were interrupted by the sight of Chris stumbling out of the corner of his eyes. "What was that I had said about pebbles?" He teased plainly without even so much as angling his gaze towards Chris.
- (Alrighty, bed time for me. Goodnight guys!)
