Shadow looked at Jessica "i told you to leave th i s is dangerous for you"he looked at the castle some hunters were killed already but some were in the village "stay here and don't move "he shifted and flew away

The hunter had tackled someone and grabbed his knife, raising it for a stab in the shoulder.

Jessica didn't argue. She laid on the grass, feeling drain of energy. She closed her eyes and kept breathing. Her heart was going a mile an hour.

Shadow looked down and pulled of the hunter off he's friend then heard a click of a crossbow and moved out of the way "that was close "he turned to the hunter

The hunter had pulled his cross bow around and shot, hitting the dragon in the shoulder.

Shadow roared in pain then summoned shadows to eat them all he tryed to take the arrow out but it was in to deep

The hunter quickly notched another and shot him in the wing, just before he was eaten.

Jessica slowly got up and looked around for shadow. She had limped back to his room quickly and laid on the bed.

Shadow roared but smiled as he was eaten the dragons won this battle but some injured including himself he couldn't move much because of the arrow in his shoulder then the one in is wing made it hard to fly so he limped back to the castle and shifed back which was the worst mistake he made as his wings disappear the arrow is on his back he took it off but he need help on the one in his shoulder so he went to a friend and he pulled it out and bandaged it up then shadow went back to his room

Jessica laid on the bed, still catching her breath. She had hand prints around her neck and her hand was still bleeding. When she heard the door open, she sat up and saw shadow. She quickly went over to him Quickly and wrapped her arms around him.

Shadow whined "hey please not so hard it hurts"he hugged her but softly
