Even though it's dark, I can made out the other girl turning her head in my direction. Did she see me? My black snake, Nathair, slithers silently down the steps, almost blending in with the darkness of the tunnel. I'm not sure why he did this, but I've learned not to interfere with his plans. I stand there for a while but decide it might not be good to stay, so when I turn around tiny pieces of debris crunch under me feet. I hope that noise wasn't enough to give away my position, but if I have to, and only if I have to, I'll fight. I'm just about to take off when the image of another girl comes into view, I'm trapped but I still hold me blade in my hand, I won't hurt anyone if there isn't a reason to

Nothing really, Kilee, Cora, and Teagen are entering a door that leads to a lab, Ellie is standing at the entrance, and Devin just arrived))

Devin

Devin creeps forward and pauses at the entrance to the tunnel, "um," She says quietly and Adrasteia starts to hiss. Devin brings her hands up to calm the cat before looking back at the girl in front of her.

Taegen

Taegen stayed close to Ki. Not exactly comfortable around her but also more afraid of the small space that they were in. Every sound in the tunnel has Taegen jumping and he nearly grabs Ki on multiple occasions before stepping a little bit away from the girl in an attempt to act just a little braver than he actually was.

I hear the girl behind me utter a few words and quickly bring my blade to her chin. I guess it was reflex because I didn't really mean to do it, "Sorry" I say. I then cover my mouth almost as quickly as I said the words. I stare down into the tunnel and hope no one heard me talk.

Devin

Devin freezes and Adrasteia jumps down from her neck, hissing her appreciation at having a knife held against her tail. Devin crouches slowly to pick up the cat and cradle in the fuzzball in her arms. It takes Devin a moment to calm the cat down and she's thankful when the cat finally stops hissing. Adrasteia is still tense but otherwise silent. Devin sighs a little in relief before checking to see if anyone else had noticed the noises the cat made.

Ki held back a snort of amusement, Taegen latching on to her every now and then. He seemed terrified as he stepped away, though he tried to act braver. She gave him a soft look and a small smile, which was rare for this assassin. Ki gave him a nod of 'its ok to be afraid'. Suddenly she spun around, pushing Taegen behind her. Ki pulled out her fully loaded p229 pistol and looked up the tunnel. Her blue eyes started to glow a bright pale, almost white, blue. She could now see clearly in the almost pitch black darkness. A couple girls stood at the opening and a black snake slithered down the steps.

Taegen lets out a small squeak when he's pushed behind Ki. He tries to see up the tunnel but he can't see very well in the dark. Taegen senses that Ki is using some kind of power so he hesitantly puts a hand on one of the girls arms in an attempt to help boost the ability. He can never tell if it actually works. Its hit and miss and he really hopes it does. This girl hadn't laughed at how frightened he was. After working with assassins for so long he was used to people laughing when he got scared.

Cora continued down the tunnel, oblivious to all that went on behind her. "We're almost there," she said, "I can feel it." She reached the bottom of the stairs and was met with another door, this one made of steel, guarded by another keypad. She waved her hand over this one, hacking it like she did the one upstairs. "It shouldn't be long now," she called over her shoulder.

Ki felt hands on her shoulders, whe suddenly her vision sharpened and her sences more accurate. "Hey up there! If you plan on making a move you're dead!" she called. Ki could see perfectly clear, two girls standing in front of the tunnels enterence. One had short cropped hair and two blades in her hand, the other a girl cradleing a cat.

I grab the girl next to me and pull her over to side. My black snake does an almost figure-eight motion as she dashes under one of the girls feet. "You know I wasn't gonna hurt you, but I'm having second thoughts with that gun pointed at my skull" I say to her. I take out my four other knifes and hold them all in one hand, if I can't get to this girl I might be able to throw the blades, but I'll only do it if I have to. My snake, Nathair, slithers at a high speed up to my feet. He now stands out in the light and I stare into the eyes of the boy, then the eyes of the girl.
