Ki used the two soldiers in the crotch, using the men's tight grip to loft herslef off the ground. They crumpled to the floor, ehere the assasin took a pistol from one of their holsters and kacked them unconscious with the butt of the gun. "He knows where the bunker is, but he's just trying to fingure out if we are a threat to the queen or kingdom. As I would, I'm an assasin, which means I'm dangerous." Ki panted as she walked, slightly stumbled to Taegen. "Plus, if the queen or king find out about the tech, then they will use it to destroy each other because it's Jason's job to report back to the queen." By the time she had finished talking, a guard grabbed her shoulder and yanked her back. Ki grabbed his hand, twisted his arm backwards, and elbowed his shoulder at the joint. It snapped like a twig and his scream was shrill enough to make chills run down your spine.

Taegen cringed at the scream, watching Ki stumble the whole time, "Yeah but what could he report? Cora doesn't even know what it is and she's a genius" Taegen paused to glance at Jason, "Not meaning to offend anyone but Jason over there don't look like a genius, in fact, he looks kinda stupid, trying to play Mr Tough Guy when he looks like a gust of wind would blow him away." Who was Taegen kidding, the assassin himself would blow away in a light breeze. He stood up, finally getting his binds off of his wrists with the help of a thin knife he'd sewn into the hem of his shirt. Taegen walked over to Ki, leaning in to whisper in her ear, "He already knows the location of the bunker, we could use this as an opportunity to escape," he murmured, making sure that his lips were hidden from everyone else's point of view. Taegen pulled back from Ki, winking, "Besides, I betcha Jason there is too chicken to take us back to the bunker."

"I don't answer to your queen," Cora said. "Nor to you, the king, or anyone else in this weck of a world. I work to complete the noble goal of an era long past, to finish the las great project of a lost age. Others have tried and failed, but that is because they did not possess the power I do. I will save this world, without any help from your failing government." With that, Cora turned and started walking down the hall.

Cora didn't look back, but she did stop walking. " If that's the way you think," she said, " Then you're nothing like me. I'm not just a pawn, dancing on the strings of powers I don't care to question. And believe me, all the armies of Soldoor could come to my lab, and they'd never get past the front door. Not unless you think they could handle a legion of Ngozi." She began walking away again, saying only one thing more. "Thank you for your contribution."
