The instant her bonds were cut, Cora sprang up and bolted to the door. Well, limped, really. All the time spent tied to the chair had made her leg fall asleep. Cursing her organic veins, Cora started limping faster, knowing how easy a target she was. The last thing she wanted at this point was to get tranquilized again.

"Alright, you're starting to bore me now." Ki snapped, finally speaking. "Its been great meeting you all," she said, false enjoyment in her voice. "but it's time we get going." Ki leaped fron her chair, six throwing knifes in hand. Black zip ties hung from her wrist, the center loop that had held the two together laid out on the floor. "Next time you might want to search your prisoners before you zip tie them to a chair." said Ki, voice full of malice. She carefully dodged a soldier, weaving in and out of them, and behind her- friends? chairs. Taking the blades and slashing them down the zip ties. Ki had rested enough to haved gained a good bit of energy, and knowing that Devin and Taegen could weaken the soldiers. Jason on the other hand, seemed unfazed by Devin and Taegens attempts, having his rifle in his hands and aimed for the assasins head. With a rythem of tactful steps, Ki was at the door and kicking it open, though kicked it with her bad leg. Two soldiers managed to grab Ki's arms and wrestle her agaist the wall, daggers clattering to the ground. Anger surged through her, kicked and scrambling for freedom that never came.

Cora quickly wrapped her hand around the soldier's weapon, giving him a look that would have scared off a tiger. "I am not at your beck and call," she said, her hair beginning to glow as she tried to deconstruct the weapon, "I answer to a higher authority than you."

"Like who?" Jason snarled back. He pushed his weapon into Cora, and dropped to a crouch. He swept a leg out, kicking Cora's out form underneath her. In mid air, as the blonde and green haired girl fell, Jason leaped up, smacking Cora's legs and causing her to spiral into the wall behind him. Yes it was in the hallway of the exit, but she wouldn't be getting far with him not but a foot away. He picked up his weapon again, the butt of it against his broad shoulder.

Cora's meeting with the wall behind her brought a fresh wave of pain, but also the sensation of a massive store of technology behind the wall. It was either the armory or the lab, but that didn't really matter. "I serve Queen Marietta," Cora said, though she had no idea where the words came from, or even why she said them. Queen Marietta had been dead for almost a hundred years, there was no way Cora could ever have met her, she hadn't even met the current queen. She'd have to look into that later, right now she had a base to escape from. Hair ablaze, she slammed her hand against the wall, hearing the familiar clank and grind of metal from the adjacent room. In short order, a shimmering blade of energy sliced straight through the wall of the corridor, nestling gently in Cora's hand. "As such," she continued, standing back up and leveling the blade at the soldier, "I believe I outrank you, so I order you to let us go."

"Use your powers, you will see I'm telling the truth," Cora said, her hair glowing green again. The sword dissolved where it lay, reforming back in the technopath's hand. She still wasn't quite sure what she was saying, the words just sprang into her mind independent of any thought on her part. "I work on behalf of the queen to save humanity from itself, now stand aside before I have to make you."

"Ki?" Taegen said nervously, glancing at the girl, "You okay?" He was furious too. Soldiers were meant to protect people. Not capture them and hold them against there will. Granted, that was not the way soldiers had been during his lifetime so Taegen had no clue where that notion had come from. "Couldn't you just show the idiot the bunker?" Taegen said, his voice sounding tired, "I mean, he's not going to understand it anyways so what harm could come to it?"
