Scott smiled softly as he stroked Johnny's hair gently. Once he was sure Johnny was asleep he slid out of his grasp with a light sigh, He formed up a piece of paper and a pen and wrote him a note. He knew he said he wasn't going to leave but if he could stop Lucifer before Johnny got involved he'd willingly leave to protect his lover. He sighed before placing the paper down on the nightstand, he walked out to the living room before grabbing the knife once more and slicing his palm again; this time drawing an angel sigil on the door. In his note he left detailed instructions for Johnny to follow if Lucifer got into his house and how to use the sigil. After her placed the knife down he walked back to the room where Johnny was sleeping and kissed his head softly, "I love you Cherub." he whispered before disappearing.

Johnny woke an hour later. He immediately knew something was wrong. His heart pounded against his chest and his hands shook as he reached out to pick up the letter.
He flattened the piece of paper with the palm of his hand before reading it. He saw something appear on the piece of paper - a wet spot. He hadn't even been aware he'd been crying. Johnny stood and placed the letter back on the nightstand. He walked toward his closet, grunting a little at the pain to his side. He kept expecting Scott to walk through that door, scold him for being out of bed. But that wouldn't happen, and he knew it. Johnny pulled a black jacket on, walking towards his door after he had picked up the Angel Blade, and toward where the demon had gone.
It was her fault.
He walked up to her with the blade hidden. She seemed disgusted to even be looking at him. "What?" She hissed, until the blade was shoved into her chest and twisted.
"It's your fault." He growled, turning and walking away.

Johnny watched Scott, and frowned when he saw the Angel Blade. "Okay," he said, taking the blade in his hands and watching over him. "I understand," he nodded. "I'll hold onto it."

Aveline nodded, not exactly matching her grin but not frowning either. "Have you heard the news?" She asked.

"No. I'm never informed on anything. What's the all-important news?" She became serious as Aveline seemed to not be happy, and wasn't smiling, meaning it must be something grave.

Scott appeared in an abandoned town, hair long once more and wings around him. He glanced around until spotting a figure sitting on a pile of rubble, Lucifer.... he said as the figure smirked and hoped down. ""Well well, I actually expected you sooner," he explained before walking over, Scott standing rigid and tense though the figure seemed calm.

"Lucifer has risen," Aveline said, quirking her eyebrow.

Over the months Johnny had gotten quite a few more scars. One decorated the space beside his eye, others dotted around his neck and body. His hair was a bit too long and his clothing was always black. He kept the angel blade holstered on his belt, abandoning his home and living off of people's donations to the 'saviour of the town'. Sometimes newcomers would ask him questions, though the people who had been following him the longest knew he never answered questions and in return never asked them.
You could have called him a churchgoer, if interrupting and contradicting the preacher was something considered holy.
Johnny had become the opposite of what he was before. He was no longer the scared boy he had previously been, relying on Scott for everything, but rather a legend in the streets of London.
Johnny stood up to the thing he'd been dreading the most, and he entered the pub once more, flipping the sign to open. He wanted interaction - to be spoken to, not of.

Honestly Scott didn't plan on being gone for months, but time flies when you're battling evil. Lucifer and himself were pretty evenly matched, though the fallen angel had the upper hand since he still had an angel blade. After countless strikes against each other and near destruction of whatever had been left in the abandoned town, Scott withdrew. True this would only be for a healing period since both sides had received heavy damage, that and Scott wanted to make sure Johnny was still safe. He flew back to Johnny's bar, appearing in the room he last left Johnny in. He glanced around briefly before collapsing on the bed with a thud, eyes closed and breathing heavy. He had a few deep cuts on his arms and chest, a few on his face as well but they would heal; he just needed some time.

Johnny cleaned some glasses, serving people silently with a small nod at each order. He poured beer and wine, passing the glasses to the people who ordered them. He didn't smile, looking like he was constantly thinking about something or another. He heard a thump, frowning a bit. "I'm gonna close up for tonight," he announced. He waited for people to clear out before locking the door behind them and slowly making his way upstairs, his hand on his holy-water canteen.

Scott laid motionless on the bed, the only sign he was alive was the shallow breathing. His wings were sprawled out across the bed and floor, feathers scattered around the torn wings. His outfit was covered in blood and was torn Atlanta in seven different places, he could hear someone coming upstairs and he practically prayed it was Johnny and not some demon coming to finish him off.

Johnny frowned, looking over the hallway and slowly stepping into his bedroom. He saw Scott, throwing holy water over him before he did anything else. He kept a hand on the angel blade, walking toward him slowly. "Scott?" He asked, his eyes a little wide and his eyebrows furrowed.

Scott remained still as someone approached, though he didn't really expect the holy water to be thrown. He sighed softly, "I am no demon...." He muttered though kept his eyes closed, he attempted to tuck his wings closer so Johnny could come over but instead let out a hiss of pain.
