"I don't doubt anything of you," The Demon said, still smiling. "But I could damage his mind, you see - for just a seed of doubt will make him believe that you started the fire that killed his baby sister." He laughed gently. "Oh. That, and he'll be crippled. Lost forever, in his mind, but unable to express himself. Like before - I'm just ending the proce-AH!" He jerked, baring his teeth.

Scott frowned lightly as the demon mentioned 'breaking' Johnny, and when he jerked Scoot rushed forward; grabbing Johnny's shirt collar and starting to speak in Latin. "Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus

infernalis adversarii, omnis legio,
