I couldn't help but laugh. "I've tried that before, man have I tried, but she blames me for everything. I'm the reason why..." I shake my head. "Doesn't matter, you heard her, that was clearly a threat with the water. She's never done that before, I know she forgets about it sometimes but she's never deliberately..." I stop talking, I was not going to talk about this, with him. I already had told Kailen all about it and one person who knows about it is one too many. "Can we get back to the lesson? I can't do this, not now, not ever."

"Sure, just remember that you might not always have another chance to talk it out." I regretted the sentence the moment I said it as I felt a familiar flood of guilt. I gritted my teeth as I did my best to push it back, my magic creating large, exploding fireballs all around me.

Rebecca:

I smirk as I watch his powers get out of control. "Is there something you need to talk about Jace? You'll feel better if you tell someone," I say to him.

"No, I just need to forget about it. Otherwise it's going to crush me." I say quietly. I mentally call out Nerams name and create the dragon again and let him drain the guilt through the bond. That was another difference between a fire shaped dragon and a fire dragon. The fire dragon was a part of me. He shared my feelings and could help me with things that humans couldn't. It was a waste that so little people have discovered that bond.

I looked out the window at the beautiful day. The teacher seemed to be rambling. I just wished I could be outside.

"Okaaay," I say to him. "But if you ever feel like talking about it, then you can talk to me because I've probably done worse." I tell him and smirk.

I give her a smirk in return, but there isn't much humor in it, "No you haven't." I reach out and stroke the fire dragons head.

I sigh I didn't want to be in English normally I wouldn't even be in school but I liked going to class with Rebecca. But she wasn't here and I was being taught stuff I'd already mastered. So I slid out of my seat and went back to my dorm room I was actually kinda happy my roommate had dropped out and so I had the room to myself. I flopped onto the bed it was way to warm in here so I iced over the room and the bed and every other object. And then I eventually went to sleep maybe Rebecca would show up I thought drifting off to sleep.

"Just because I've never been to jail, doesn't mean I haven't done things jail-worthy. I could just be that good that I've never gotten caught," I say to him. I look over towards the boys dorms and I could see the ice on the window from here. Kailen was in his room. "Maybe we could continue our lesson later?" I ask Jace because I sorta wanted to go visit Kailen and ask him why he's not in science.

"Sure, oh and say that he's welcome to water-boy for me if you will." I reply, having noticed her looking at the frosted window. I turn my back to her and create a sword with my powers, starting to practice combat moves. You never know when it might come in handy.
