"I'm leaving," I say starting to walk away. I could tell Jace was annoyed and I didn't want things to go bad again if I wanted to be friends with him. "I know they're probably so bored in science without me, and I just want to see the look on Ms. Edwards face if I walk in there again."

"You know, I didn't take you for thatkind of girl that gives up without even trying" I say, raising an eyebrow as I watch her start to walk away.

I stop walking and I turn around. "I'm not giving up, I just don't find that's it's worth my attention and time to learn how to do something I can already do now." I explain to him. There was really no difference to me. A fire shaped dragon could scare and destroy just as much as a fire dragon.

I extend my arms outwards and create the fire dragon. This one is a lot larger than the one I created in class. My eyes turn a fiery red as I gesture towards Rebecca and then up in the air. The dragon flies forward with a screech, circling her and grabbing the collar of her t-shirt into its teeth. That was the difference, a simple fire shaped dragon could burn, but it could make no real physical contact since it was just a flame. The fire dragon however, was a creature. It lifted Rebecca into the air, holding her about two and a half meters above ground, waiting for my command. "You sure ?" I ask with a small grin.

Rebecca-Fire Elemental-Talking to: Jace

I look down at Jace unamused. Even though I hated water, I wish I had a huge amount I could just splash in this dragon's face to let go of me. "Jace this is not funny, tell that thing to put me down," I say to him getting furious. I hated feeling helpless or people seeing me defenseless, and that was all I felt right now in the air.

"Im not trying to be funny, I was just trying to prove a point." I shrug and make a slow hand gesture downwards and the dragon responds by slowly placing Rebecca back onto the ground and he lets go of her. "That kind of trick makes for a pretty bad rollercoaster experience." I comment as the dragon does three circles in the air before returning to me. "What exactly do they teach here anyway ? What can you do with fire other than simply setting things aflame ?"

Rebecca-Fire Elemental-Talking to: Jace

I was still mad at him for doing that but I was glad to be back on the ground. I hear his question and frown at him. "Are you questioning their teaching ability or my ability to manipulate fire?" I ask him because it sounded like the second option to me.

"Their teaching ability. Because it seems like the magic education is on level zero while they make you study stupid science." I reply.

Rebecca-Fire Elemental-Talking to: Jace

"My mom is in charge of the school, what do you expect?" I ask him. "She focuses more on keeping our powers under control than teaching us how to use our powers and embrace them. That's what I would do if I was in charge of this school."

"Good for you, but unfortunately, youre not. Thats one of the reasons I come here to practice. No one to interrupt or judge me. Now you can leave and return to them and their methods of teaching you how one thing reacts with another. Or you can stay and learn something actually useful." I say, watching her and waiting for her response.
