Mr. Brashear nodded. "Thank you, Kailen, and thank you, Rebecca." He said, returning to the front of the class. He glanced at the clock to see how much time he had left, then looked out at the rest of the class. "I admit I didn't have much of a lesson plan for today." He said. "But no matter. I want each of you to come to class tomorrow without any books or anything. Just bring yourself. I know this is an English class, but I have a bit of a philosophy class planned, where books and such will only get in the way." He paused for a moment, glancing at the clock again. "Since we have only a few minutes left together, you have the rest of the period to yourselves, to study or talk. Please don't leave until the bell rings, and obviously please don't use your powers in unsafe ways. I am not the power control teacher. However, since I use my own power I would feel hypocritical if I absolutely forbade you from using yours. Just be safe." He nodded and went back to his desk, sitting and propping his feet up again.

Saffron had her face twisted slightly into a expression of thought. She stood up and approached Mr. Brashear. "So that story you told us, it was one of creation. I've heard a lot of them, but not that specific one. Where did it originate from?" She asked him curiously.

"China." Mr. Brasahear replied. "There's more to it, if you want to read the rest. It's in the book. There's a bit about the creation of humans which I find interesting because it explains why some people are in higher classes." He smiled at Saffron. "It's also where the chinese get their notion of yin and yang." ((bit of wb sorry))

Alex sat leaning in his chair in his classroom. He looked at the Ceiling waiting for lunch.

Rose sat in her 4th period class. She almost fell asleep from boredom.

I hear the bell to go to lunch, then look back towards the frozen fire. "So what do we do with that?" I ask Kailen, motioning towards our creation.

Alex smiled and got up heading to the cafeteria. He walked through the halls with a smile.

Rose fell asleep leaning on her hand. She breathed steadily and dreamt. Once she heard the bell she almost jumped. She walked to the cafeteria and yawned.

Lina Hart-Leo-Tagged: Lunch
When the bell rang, Lina immediately shouldered her bag and began to walk to lunch, her muscles stiff but loosening as she walked. She couldn't wait to get something to eat- she was starving after her display that morning.

Aden Warrick-Virgo-Tagged: Saffron, English class
Aden hung back, not going to lunch right away. He packed slowly, waiting for Saffron so he could walk there with her and not alone. He always felt awkward during the moments when the people he knew were doing something he was too shy to join in on.

I looked up from the book I had hide under the table to see everyone was leaving. I was surprised that the teacher hadn't noticed me reading. I looked behind me to see that their was this beautiful thing. It looked like a delicate ice creation, but it glowed red, orange, yellow, green and blue. "Is that new?" I asked as I heard my stomach rumble "Are you guys hungry?"

Saffron nodded before hearing the bell ring. "Thanks Mr. Brashear," she said politely before going back to her seat and packing up. "Ready for lunch?" She asked Aden, heading for the cafeteria.

Aden followed her, with a small smile. "Yup." he replied. Anything to get away from those two and their experiments with fire... and he was hungry too. "D'you know what we're having?" he asked, trying to make conversation about something that didn't terrify him.
