"Exactly, why waste time with someone who is so full of himself that they create lame rules for a living ?" Daniel rolled his eyes and continued walking.

Daisy followed him, even though she didn't know where he was going, Daniel was still a big question mark, and Daisy wanted to know about him without reading his mind. "Principals are there to create order in a school. Then, people won't run around and cause trouble, like I don't know, throw knives at teachers." Daisy said to him, a little upset. She loved school and everything about it, including the rules.

"And that is exactly what makes it all so much more boring. You have a lot to learn, believe me." Daniel stated, walking into one of the doors. As a year younger student passed them in the hallway, his eyes visibly widened when he spotted Daniel before he took a turn and disappeared from their view.

"Wonderful," she said sarcastically, "your brother thinks he is a ladies' man, and you think you're a bad boy." She said, recalling Jace in the cafeteria with the group of girls.

"We are some messed up family huh ? Well, I've learned to just roll with it." Daniel shrugged, shifting back into a human. "Oh and for the record, I don't just think that I am tough"

"Mmhmm, I'll believe when I see it," Daisy told Daniel. Daisy couldn't relate to having a bad family, or any family at all, she was taken away from them when she was five, and hasn't seen them since then.

Saoirse flinched at his tone and continued looking down, her hands clasped behind her back. "I said I was sorry." She whispered, sounding like she wanted to cry. She hated being spoken to in anything but a friendly tone.

Nicholas Storm:
Nicholas frowned before letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry... I guess I'm just not cut out for making friends." He sat down on a rock sticking out from the bottom of the lake. Nick felt really bad about making her cry. She seemed like a nice person, and Saoirse was the first real friend he'd ever had.

Saoirse blinked rapidly, getting rid of the remaining tears. "Well first times a charm!" She chirped and sat next to him, tucking her tail underneath her. "To be honest, I scare people off because they think I'm sick in the head, whatever that means." She chuckled and shook her head.

Nicholas glanced in her direction. "You don't seem like a nutjob." He replied, stretching his sore limbs. He took quite the beating from that shark.
