Merrik shook his head. "Doc, will keep watch over the wounded?" He walked towards the tent without waiting for his answer.

"I'll be home soon. I hope." With that Gabriel hung up and went on his way.

Seishear shook his head.

Morris nodded dismissing him.

Marie took a sip or two from the cool water and looked around. She easily blended in with the darker colors, being grey and small.

Scarlette hung up too and stared at the phone for a few moments, before putting it in the dock.

Merrik entered the tent, and to his horror it was empty. "Marie!?"

Marie hummed softly and padded to a tree.

"Oh, well that isn't good, not at all." The shifter crossed her legs on the branch and sighed, simply watching as Ava half-laughed her reply. "Well, is it not better to get home to him sooner than have him worry lnonger?"

"That's....that's really awesome!" he laughed, then covered his mouth and settled down. "Er, sorry, it's just Ive seen a lot of sources online that don't give a lot of information about you guys--."

Victor looked at Seishear and licked his chops.

Merrik made himself look as calm as possible and walked brskly over to one of the rebel warriors that had been stationed nearby. He asked about seeing Marie and then ordered (very aggressivly) a search party.

The sun streamed through the curtains and the new message light blinked on the answering machine. Gabriel had never made it home.

"It is, but we now have a new problem." Ava replied with a more serious tone.
