As Grace cocked her head off to one side she could easily pick up some of the sounds from outside the house. She glanced out the house and looked toward the barn and outbuildings. "I can understand your restlessness to meet your friend. Perhaps one day shortly after we get settled in we can show you our wolf forms." Grace said softly her eyes still on the yard and the outbuildings. "Would it be alright if we explore the property before it gets too dark after I get back from retrieving our gear?" She asked Mika with a half smile. She then looked at her twin siblings and teased Ari "Just remember to use a bit of lavender dog shampoo on him so that you can make sure to get rid of the fleas." Talon just looked at his sisters and growled playfully the laughed "gee girls I love you both too." he said with laughter.

Triko nodded. "Well, perhaps you will learn that not all are as cruel to their own even if they do have different traits." He offered with a slight smile. He nodded to the response she gave regarding other kitsune. "Yes, very many years ago I met a young wolf who had taken a Kitsune as his mate. Though it seemed from what he had told me his pack did not agree with it at first but as it became clear he would not choose his pack over his beloved mate they came to accepted her rather warmly. They had three young cubs when I met them." He gave a sight though it was fallowed by a smirk. "They could be little devils at times." He told her with a fondness in both his tone and smile. Apparently the old wolf had no problem with 'little devils'. He nodded to her introduction. "It is nice to meet the both of you as well."

Mika nodded to the comment about showing her their wolf forms. She listened to Grace's question and nodded. "By all means. Just be careful in the forest. I know that the village and this property is neutral ground though the forest and mountain beyond is another story." Mika had figured this out on her own since moving to the town. She listened to the girls teasing Talon and smiled. "Don't feel bad Talon. Oliver hates getting a bath as well." She told him. It was true though he never seemed to mind swimming.

Kain smirked to her comment about his name. "Names after the father of a demonic arms." he muttered mostly to himself. He listened to her explanation and nodded before giving her a smile at the next question. "Well, I go fishing on some of the days that I don't have students. Or take Gin for a run." He said simply. "Hm, I probably don't have a very interesting life." he said with a slight chuckle. Though Kain did spend a lot of time at the library. "What about you? Aside from your 'girls night out'?" He asked.

Von scoffed. "I was not born to this pack. I do not share in most of their values nor do I answer to any rank lower than alpha, Obviously." He said referring to the confrontation between Alec and himself. "If you are wanting to join a pack so badly I am sure Novak would accept you. After all, you had the guts to challenge him, knowing his rank." He said with a shrug as his head remained on his paws.

Rayne snorted in disbelief at his first statement only to do it again at his second. "You really think he would accept me? A lone she-wolf who dared to threaten him. Lowly likely." Rayne's white head shifted a bare fraction of an inch as she stared at him for a moment. "Their your pack. Just because you weren't born into it doesn't mean you shouldn't embrace them."

Own kind? Stunned by the old wolf's casual, accepting statement, something warm curled in her chest and saw her eyes soft. She was 'fox', 'mutt', 'disgrace', or 'mistake'. After her first shift even her family became distant, with the exception of one uncle. He didn't really care, neither fond nor disgusted, and was the only one willing to speak of kitsune customs, or the foxes at all. This practical stranger saw her surprised at every turn, and she couldn't say she minded considering how pleasant said surprises were. When she inevitably moved on, since surely the pack wouldn't wish her to linger, she would be sad to say goodbye to the elderly alpha. Perhaps she could come back at some point since the town and roads were fair game? She should probably look up various herbs and the like for whatever areas she wandered to, that way she could bring the wolf a gift he could actually use. Maybe a deer or two as well, only the humans might consider it odd, and it wouldn't be fresh anymore by the time she got here, so maybe just the pelts instead...

Pleased with the plan, she listened with rapt attention as he described the family of five he'd met. For once though, she actually wished for an elder to drone on, and on, and on. Yet he didn't, leaving out names, location, pack- anything which might of given her a lead to run with once the moon passed. She knew they were accepted, all five, and that was about it. It was something she figured must of happened at one point, at some place or another, and now that theory was a little more substantial. Yet it remained a fantasy, a dream, a fairytale just the same. There was simply too little information for that starving part of her mind to be sated, she didn't know enough for it to feel real. Though it would probably remain as such until she saw with her own two eyes, regardless.

Yet she had badgered him enough already, with absolutely no desire to wear out her welcome, and kept a firm leash on the questions that so desperately wanted to be voiced.

"It sounds lovely..." Statement slightly wistful, she shook off the shadows which crowded her mind as Triko spoke again. Pleased by the rare statement, she firmly resolved to return to this little town at some point if only to visit the wolf. Next time though, she would try to avoid getting so firmly penned by an approaching moon.

Grace nodded then smiled a little, "We will stay clear of the forest and the mountain. I would not want my brother and I to fall prey to the alpha of the pack that chooses to call the area theirs. Even if we are just pups. And other than you I would rather no one know that Ari is human." she said as she looked over at her younger sister. Talon laughed a little "One of the Amazon women was always rough when giving me a bath when we were younger. Seeing as how I am a male and well they think so low of males." he said then shook his dark head as he added "when Grace or Ari bathe me in my furry form they are always so gentle but I am not a huge fan of the smell of lavender but it does help if it has a citrus scent added to help with the fleas." Ari broke down into a fit of laughter then sobered a little as she caught her breath "at least neither one of you ever got sprayed by a skunk like the camp dogs did when we were little." she said as she made a face at the memory prompting laughter from her older siblings.
[just to clear it up Grace is the oldest of the triplets, she is 10 minutes older than Talon and 20 minutes older than Ari who nearly died when they were born because she was so little. Thats why Grace is so protective of her.]

((Let's see here, your last post was on page 21, with the response on 22. I don't believe much has happened aside from various people chatting, and since cypher hasn't done anything more with Alec since your last post, I'd presume you could pick up there.))

Eris Lane/Werewolf/Tags; Alec

Hearing Alec's return howl, she started in the direction of his cabin. She really didn't mind who she hung out with, as long as she wasn't bored. Eris was the type of person who easily got agitated and bored. A little company might do her some good. Her paws landed softly on the forest floor with every step she took. As the beta, Alec always welcomed his pack mates to his cabin. Although, Eris was more curious with what he did with the intruder. She was always quick to jump to conclusions, and probably wouldn't of handled the situation better than Alec. And it was a bit annoying that Von questioned his leadership. There was a reason Alec was picked as the beta.

Alec - Beta - 21

Cautiously, Alec surveyed his surroundings before transforming back into his human form. Quietly yawning as he walked onto his front porch and collapsed in the old, wooden rocking chair in the corner. Resting his elbow on one of the arm rests before he rested his hand in his hand and closed his eyes for a few moments. Breathing in as he focused on his other senses. Listening for anyone approaching, possibly smelling them in the wind as they approached. His cabin was, similar to a few residents, outside of town. The only road that led towards his place was dirt and a thick array of bushes and trees surrounded his back garden from any prying eyes that happened to come in off the woods. Anyone who approached him now could probably assume that he was asleep, instead he was simply calming down and analysing the previous situation with the intruder. What could he have done better? Improve upon? Maybe he needed to see Kain and check if his fighting skills were intact.

Triko watched the young fox's actions before tipping his head slightly with a light smile. "You know, maybe you should meet the pack before the moon. Get to know them. Who knows, it could be a good fit." He suggested. Triko had seen his fair share of those who were abandoned and cast out. This young woman did not seem quite as corrupt as some could become. In fact she seemed to still be looking for acceptance. He knew that his pack was not like many others. Despite his nature Novak was not cruel, just... lost perhaps was the best word for it. Others were simply playing their roles. So perhaps this young fox and her companion would do well among them.

Mikael tipped her head slightly. "Can't they tell that she is not a wolf?" She asked the three simply. She knew that Oliver was able to tell who was human and who was wolf. So wouldn't other wolves know too? She looked to Talon when he spoke and gave a light smile. "If fleas are a problem you could just eat a clove of garlic. It tends to work more often than not." She suggested. Mika turned to Ari, "No that is never pleasant." She said as if she knew first hand.
