"Set... Go!" Haku sprinted as fast as he can, and due to his high agility, he was in lead. Akio seemed pretty fast, though on first sight he seemed lazy. and slow. And so, he felt like he shouldn't really hold back, since both of them were guys. Weird reason, but probably reasonable.
