Kaii gave an easy grin. "You were never graceful at dancing. I always lead." She brought him to the dance floor, and placed one hand on his shoulder and placed her other hand in his. "Just follow me, okay?"

Sapphire decided to swim over to the buffet table and eat something to maybe calm her nerves. She had started to get more involved with other merfolk but she was still quite out of practice when it came to social events of any kind.

Zero was absentmindedly swimming when he bumped into Sapphire. He was struck with fear. "S-s-sorry...!"

Sapphire was just as suprized as he was. she shook her head and replied quickly, "n-no no! it's alright. i was just in my own little world." she apologized and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear nervously.
