"No it's not, but you will do as I say! Besides, if you harm Sean you'll have to deal with Dad and he's far less forgiving than I am," Diago snapped back as he shoved her right back.

The boy laughed weakly and kept swimming, not daring to slow down. He wanted to keep up a good pace if he was to find his sister, and find her fast to bring her home safely. For some reason though, he had a bad feeling in his gut. He wasn't sure if it was just his worry for his sister, but something made a shiver run up his spine.

Delilah growled lowly again in her chest. "I doubt Dad would find anything amiss if you were missing an arm," she said, shoving him back. "I don't like you. If you weren't family I would have taken care of you years ago."

Sean caught up with Feliciano, and followed him in silence a while. "So," he said after a little bit, "how close are you and your sister?"

"Can't believe nobody realised it was missing," Kaii murmured. "Right! Well then. With this new information everything is easier. I want to hear the best plan of actions."

Zero hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder. He loved Kaii, and would do anything for her.

"Dad would care actually because he actually likes me. I don't care that you don't like me because I don't like you either. Now, find Sean or I'll do it myself and explain to Dad just how much of a disappointment you are. After that, good luck getting back out of that cage," Diago snapped back as he did a hard twirl, slamming her into a rock face.

The boy's smile faded a little. "we were a lot closer as kids ... when our parents were still around. After when we were left alone ... well ... we sorta drifted apart ... her being reluctant about her work and about telling me a lot of things, well, should explain that ... it's also because she knows i have work on land." he sighed. "she ... doesn't exactly like the thought about land because of dad ... he was a great warrior here for the reef, but some drunk sailors found him one day when he was with mom ... i ... i won't go into to much detail ... but we lost dad that day ... and mom left shortly after." he murmured. "i'd like to think me and Alice are still close, but it's a bit difficult to tell sometimes ..."

Delilah got very still, as she waited for Diago to release her. When he finally did, she turned around and bit him on the arm. She let go after a few seconds. "Fine. Whatever. Who cares."

Sean was quiet. "I felt like I hated Kaii after our dad died. She didn't even have the same mother as me, and I knew my father loved her mother more than mine. I felt like he favoured her. He always had praise for her, but for me... It was different. I was always criticised. Never good enough. Could always improve. So when my dad died, I took out all this anger I had built up on my sister. I still do, sometimes, after I found out he situation with Zero. Treating her like a child. And I feel terrible for it. But I always let her know I love her. Our relationship is strained, but she's my sister, and I'll always love her.

Kaii continued to listen to the advisors, eventually running her hand back through Zero's hair. It was the little things he did, holding her, being around her, even protecting her when, as far as she knew, she didn't need protection, that made her love him so much. She was never a big plan person, and she appreciated the small things Zero did.
