Briley sighed and put Whistle down, who eagerly ran to a pile of snow and hopped around. He chuckled as he watched, noticing he was playing with the little girl ghost again. But it wasn't that which made him chuckle, it was what the little girl was saying and how she said it.
Brady was used to random chuckling or laughing from his brother about ghosts, so he didn't react. He simply gave Iden a look meaning, "You owe my brother an apology."

Geode

He heard Briley laughing. What? Had he missed something again? Or maybe it was his ghosts. Just as he was about to turn back to the coversation a bright image of a crash not too terribly far away flashed through his mind. "Serenity! Brace yourself!"

Serenity

She heard Geode's warning. "Why? What-"

Then it hit her. Literally. A huge force of pain crashed into her. Apparently there'd been a car wreck in range of her powers. A bad one. The pain that one or more of the victims had felt reflected into her. Serenity screamed and toppled to the ground.

Katniss
I screamed and cried loudly. He was taken away on an ambulance, but nothing could be done. News reporters started coming and I morphed into a dog. I then ran after my brother.

Ashley was outside in her cat form. She seen the wreckage not too long ago. It was sad to see but she just happen not to know anyone. She started to play in the snow away from the road since she learned her lesson about the road when you're not careful a long time ago. She happened to see people and a dog. Dog... She slowly back away not wanting to be chased by the dog.

Katniss
I morphed onto a bird and flew on top of the ambulance. I then morphed into human form and held on. I didn't have a good grib but I managed to hold onto the ambulance. I was crying as they took him to the Hospital.

Whistle ran in circles around the snow pile.
Briley watched his puppy until he heard Geode's warning to Serenity, looking just as the girl felt the pain. "A-are you ok?" he asked in surprise.
Brady tensed slightly, unsure what to do, as he wasn't usually in this situation.

Ashley let out a sigh of relief as she saw the dog didn't notice her. But it was kind of funny to watch it just run around. Her attention turned to everyone as they were talking to a girl, who have seem to fell. She would be over there too seeing what was going on but she was a cat. Wait she could still go over there just not talk. She padded over to them and watched with curiosity of what happened.

Iden & June
Iden nodded slightly in response to Brady's look, barely a few seconds before Serenity fell, June crouching down beside her in wide-eyed worry. "Oh my! Serenity, are you alright?" June asked as she sat in the snow with her, dainty hands trembling in their blue mittens, scared to touch her. Iden crouched down beside June and placed a calm hand on her shivering shoulder, blue eyes flicking over to the strange cat that sat close. "Keep calm. I think her powers have something to do with feeling emotions... and it doesn't help with you adding extra sadness." Iden huffed as she nodded her head gently before snapping out of it, eyes brightening again. "Hey Geo! She gonna be okay?" June asked looking up at Geode, distracting herself to wave away her fear and sadness.

Geode

"Don 't touch her." Geode warned the others. "She's an empath. Unfortunately, that means wherever there's a great deal of emotion or pain in her range, Serenity takes it upon herself. It's not something that she can help. There's been a wreck nearby, so she's feeling the pain of the victims."

He carefully knelt down and felt around for his big sister, pausing when he found her. "Hey Ren-ren," he spoke softly and used his childhood name for Serenity. "Its okay. Deep breaths. It'll be okay." He talked slowly and rubbed circles on her back. Talking once again to the others he said, "This is why I don't let her go outside very often. Things like this happen more than either of us would like to imagine. Of course, I don't particularly enjoy keeping her inside either. But at least its safer."
