She follows him. She pulls his arm to make him turn towards her. "You may be able to walk away but I will not leave your side wether you electrify me or burn me I will just haunt you anyways" she says sternly

He flinched feeling Eric's hand on his shoulder. He growled "don't touch me!" He hissed and shrugged away from him and continued walking off. He winced hearing Adeline and pulled away from her "DONT TOUCH ME!!" He shouted and flames spiraled around him.

Eric

His heart ached at his rejection and took off back to the house. He didn't stop until he made it inside. He desperately looked around. "Maxy?! Where are you kiddo?"

Max
He was huddled in the corner in Eric's room and had a blanket covering him and was quivering.

Eric

He looked around searching the rooms. "Max?!" Sees him and goes to him fast. Sits next to him and hugs him

Max
He flinched hearing his name. He also flinched at the hug. He quivered more "I...I don't understand...he was...he was dead...gone and now..." He didn't try to take off the blanket to look at Eric.

Eric

he felt like he was loosing him like he'd lost Peter. and it only made the ache grow. his shoulders sagged and his eyes showed how tired he was along wi his emotion dripping voice. "Please..." He closed his eyes and told himself. 'close your eyes and breath. just breath, breath in breath out.' he opened them and let his lip quiver. "I don't know..." he replied with honesty.

Max
He leaned into him "l...looks like it's back to being just you and me..." He murmured and quivered. He finally pulled off the blanket and his hair was over his eyes "can we...runaway...from this life? Just you and me?"

Eric

breaths out a shaky breath, he was exhausted mentally and physically. "I wish we could max. But we've been running for so long....Maybe...Maybe it..." Was he about to say quit? quit running? Maybe... But he was just as human as everyone and he was falling behind now. "I don't know Maxy...."

His eyes dulled "I want to...get away...from my dad...away from the memories..." He murmured "but without you...I have no one now...Peter is acting weird and...and the others...I just don't really connect with them. But I guess...if you stay...I'll have to stay too..." He murmured
