Eric smiled some and kissed all over his face. "I will." He said softly and muzzled his nose, but he didn't know if max would do it back so it was hesitant.

Right now the kisses felt like nothing more than a blow off to him. He quivered and pulled away from him slightly "you...you have to keep your promise this time...pl...please keep it this time I...I can't take much more of this..." He whimpered

Eric frowned as max put off the affection he was tryin to show. He lost the little playfulness that had returned. "Yeah...." His shoulders sagged.

He hugged him and continued quivering but said nothing.

Eric saw no point in trying to show that he was better when he was just pushed off to the aide. He cleared his throat. "Now what?"

He looked up at him with still watery eyes "I...I need to tell you something...I'm not blowing you off...it's just..." He pulled away and outstretched his arms "I had this much trust in you...the first time...when you uped and tried leaving me with Ashley..." He moved his one hand a little "I lost that trust...and then the other times you did that and actually left..." He moved his hands closer to each other until they were about six inches apart "I only have this much more trust Eric...now granted some of it wasn't all your fault...but I only have so much trust in people...my trust...is very frail Eric...as you should know..." He quivered and wrapped one arm around his stomach and let the other arm dangle beside him "I...it takes a long time to build trust back...maybe I'm crazy because of how fast my trust levels go down but...I'm not exactly the most stable person...or trusting person...I need to know I can count on you Eric...we were always together and helping each other out from the start and now...I don't know what's going on...it scares me..." He quivered more
