Kaiden lay still in his cell, refusing to let a single movement give him away otherwise. The male's mind was racing, numerous thoughts coursing through his body at once. As his excitement rose, the experiment began to loose his concentration; and the tips of his fingers began to dissipate into a black, wispy smoke.

Bella took a glance around the room, looking at the other expiriments. There weren't that many of them left, but these were the ones that were strong, that could actually amount to something. She noticed, with her cat's vision, the boy in the cage across and one over from her. He seemed to be turning to smoke. She watched him, ears twitching slightly and her gray eyes watching the smoke curl.

Staring down at the gas that was beginning to consume his hand, Kaiiden's eyes flared. He was ashamed that he had let his control slip, thus shaming him. He couldn't help that his body was no longer conventional mass, as it took concentration to hold his figure together. Shaking his hand in a manner similar to that of blowing out a fire, he extinguished the smoke.

The cat watched movement, her eyes being the only thing that moved. when the smoke went out, she raised a single paw and licked it, as if she'd never been watching in the first place. 'And that's the most interesting thing I'll probably see today.' she thought, giving a sigh as she began washing her ears and wiskers.

"Patience is a virtue," Ayden responded wryly, before waving down a nearby barista so that he could order a cup of coffee. "Anyways, the longer we remain in this city, the more contacts gain. And the more contacts we gain is more people who might help us clinch free the others." With a sigh, Ayden ran his pale fingers through his scraggly, messy hair. It was clear that the sleep he had gained last night was close to zero, as of he had spent the hours of darkness thinking.

Leia sighed, she didn't understand why they would need help, as either one of them could easily take the facility down by themselves. "I don't see why you think we need help, me and you could easily topple the place." she said, as she began swirling her finger above the table allowing the pink mana to swirl from her fingertip to the table before dissipating.

Ace was still sitting at his desk in the morning, working. He had stayed up all night, as usual, sitting at his desk. When he actually realized it was morning, he glanced out the window before standing up. He headed towards the cells, but stopped when he heard a loud sound. He walked down the hallway towards the cell that the sound was coming from. As he got closer, he realized it was Soundwave. "Ah, Soundwave, what do you think you are doing?" He said over the noise.

"I am making sound." she replied somewhat sarcastically. While she did not mean to sound sarcastic, that was simply how her words came out. "I would like out of this room now." she said, staring directly through the bar's separating her and the scientist. While the door did separate the two, it was very little protection against someone with her abilities, which was why her room was modified with a special 'lock-down' that completely sealed off the room, and heating all the walls, making it soundproof and un-freezable.

The dark hair girl sat in her room, well more like levitated, she had filled the room with an extremely dense fog, then made the fog under her even more dense allowing her to 'float'. While this would soak most people, she stayed perfectly dry. The dense fog she had created was seeping through the bar's of her door, and would probably attract the attention of some new scientist or guard that didn't know she always did this. She has had many chances to escape this prison called the facility, but unlike some of the other's she didn't think she would be able to manage in the real world, all the thoughts of civilians would surely drive her mad and cause her to be locked up in a mental ward instead of this prison.

The girl sighed, unsheathing her claws and grooming them. It was almost time for her weekly claw trim. She hated to have them trimmed, but it was nessisary to keep her from killing the scientists that tried to handle her. She was nervous and twitchy when anyone but the scientist she was used to, Taro, handled her. When she was nervous and twitchy, she tended to lash out.

"....And three, two-SONUVAGUN!" His yell was muffled as the boom resounded through his small lab, black smoke curlin' up towards the ceilin' lazily. Another failed test. He shook the waves of dizziness off with comfortable ease, his face, hair, and shirt covered with a black residue. Harmless, luckily for him. His pale blue-silver eyes seemed to glow as he trained a frutrated glare at the mess on his table, the shattered remains of a beaker lyin' among it. "OK.. That makes strike six. Dadgum it."

Bella heard the scientist counting down, but still jumped madly when the explosion happened. With a hiss, she flattened her ears, licking her ruffled fur flat again.
"Stupid, i should be used to that by now..." she growled. "That scientist's been at it all morning!" she hissed disdainfully.

As Taro made his way toward the holding cells, he was startled by an explosion. He was used to hearing them, but they always came so suddenly, he couldn't help but react. "Another?" He shook his head but proceeded down the hall. It took but a few moments for his heart rate to calm back to normal. As he entered the room he stood near Bella's cage. No better way to start the day than on a good note. She listened to him fairly well, which he found strange. But Taro wasn't really in the mood to deal with a rebellious test experiment. "Come on, Bella. I know you need those nails trimmed. And I'm sure we can get a few of your daily tests out of the way." He unlocked her door and opened it up.

Bella blinked as Taro appeared. Obligingly, she stepped out of the cage, looking up at him as if to ask permission onto his shoulder. she sat beside him, looking up, and her eyes were almost warm. Her tail was surprisingly still, it usually lashed about. she gave a very, very soft little mew, tipping her head. (Sorry, a little bit of WB...)
