The demon eventually merged with her soul when they made a deal, the demon lives inside her as long as he harms no one to the point of death. So every once in a while, when pressured the demon will come out and replace her, they way to tell them apart is by the eye color, her eyes will go a dark red rather then their normal white. She calls herself a demon because of the fact that when the demon merged with her soul she became a demon
